Students can except a stress free learning process. After learning the basic symbols of music notation, breathing, and simple rhythms the students will continue learning t
he techniques and fingerings on their chosen instrument. After mastering these basic concepts in music the children will then be given a chance to perform their songs to an instrumental accompaniment. This is good for the student who does not play in an ensemble to have the opportunity to play and listen to other moving parts.

*** Specialties ***

My method utilizes maracas and rhythm guitar, played Simultaneously to produce a full ensemble effect.

I must say that Mr Daniel is doing a very good job. This was my third lesson, and he is not going through a set program but is teaching me where I'm at. So he is eliminating any waste time.

*** Lesson Details ***
The goal of music lessons is not to just learn the notes and mechanics of an instrument, but to become a well-rounded MUSICIAN. With my lessons, we don't just go through a book page-by-page, rather, lessons are shaped around the musical tastes and interests of the student. Musical theory concepts are applied in actual songwriting and current popular songs. I accompany the students on various instruments, imitating a real performance situation. I teach all ages; beginners to advanced musicians.

Unlike a crowded music store with a cramped little room for lessons, my lessons are taught in a large, open, and well-lit home studio. There is an open waiting area where parents can listen as well. Parking is convenient on a cul-de-sac with a clear view into the teaching studio.

*** Studio Equipment ***
Nord Stage 2 88 piano,

I am so thankful we found Rich! With my own degree in piano performance, everyone thinks I should teach my daughter myself. But with Rich she is not only learning how to read music, but how to play by ear and improv. She loves him cause he's so "chill" and is always positive with her. Couldn't ask for a better teacher!

I have been taking piano lessons from Rich for a little over a year now an it has been such a pleasure! Rich centers the lessons around my interests and goals but also challenges me in areas where I struggle. He has always been very supportive and such an encouragement. Being able to see my process is a great experience! I would recommend Rich to anyone.

Jordan is an excellent teacher!!! Very knowledgeable and patient. He opened my eyes to a lot of the things I'm doing wrong, make the necessary adjustments and helped me solidify some things I'm working on in just a few lessons. I look forward to taking many more lessons with him and taking my bass playing to the next level.

I can't recommend Jordan enough. Not only is he a monster of a player, but he also has a huge understanding and enthusiasm for all the things musical that go along with it. He did an amazing job at breaking all of it down to my level of musical knowledge and experience so that I could easily get a grasp of it. I have been mostly self taught my entire musical career, but somehow along the way I learned how to listen and take direction pretty well. This skill, along with being at the right place at the right time, allowed me to luckily play sax on a handful of gold & platinum records for some great musicians. But after a few years of this, I ended up switching paths and got out of playing. I didn't even touch my horn for over 10 years! Finally a couple years ago, I got back into playing sax again with some friends but it was a whole new genre and approach that I had never been exposed to before. I kept crossing paths with Jordan and I was always blown away by his chops and sound. I eventually got together with him hoping he could show me some of his secrets. What I didn't expect was to finally find a teacher that not only has the education, but also the professional experience, that I could connect with. He took the time to learn what I could do, listen to what I was wanting to improve upon, and then he figured out various practice approaches for me to get there. Surprisingly even after my very first lesson with Jordan, my bandmates and I all noticed improvements in my playing and technique. I can't imagine what I would be playing like if I had met him years ago. I owe Jordan a huge debt of gratitude and always look forward to our next lesson together.
