I am a full-time professional dancer who has performed nationally and internationally including the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base, DC's City Rhythms Festival, the VelocityDC Festival, as well as others. In my dance lessons, students will strengthen their technique, creativity, individuality and showmanship through a warm-up, movement activities, and challenging movement combinations. Students will increase their knowledge and physical vocabulary and leave each lesson a better dancer, performer and person. In the midst of learning students will also be required to have fun! I am able to teach ballet, modern, jazz, step and gumboot dancing.

I have been teaching dance for about 4 years now. I have taught ages 3 to 20 years old. I have danced since I was 4. I also did gymnastics. I do not have a dance room in my house, and my classroom is occupied, so for dance, it would have to be at another location. I teach different styles. I prefer to teach elementary/middle school students. I do enjoy young children. It is hard for them to focus. My goal is for the dance student to feel confident while dancing, and learn dance technique.
