Weekly Curriculum

Thursday October 5th: Power Verbs (ser, estar, tener) and common uses (vocabulary to study: personality and physical characterics, idioms with tener)

Thursday October 12th: Using gustar y preferir to communicate likes and preferences (vocabulary to study: hobbies and common foods)

Thursday October 19th: Using poder to communicate abilities and querer to communicate wants (vocabulary to study: action verbs and common menu items)

Thursday October 26th: Uses necesitar and querer to discuss needs and wants (vocabulary to study: furniture around the house, rooms in a house)

Thursday November 2nd: Conversation practice using irregular verbs in the present tense (ser, estar, tener, ir, oir, salir, etc.)

Thursday November 9th: Describing what is happening right now using the present continuous tense.

Thursday November 16th: Conversation practice using regular verbs in the past (preterite) tense.

Thursday November 30th: Conversation practice using irregular verbs in the past (preterite) tense.

Description

All levels of Spanish speakers can benefit from these classes designed to improve fluency. Join in to expand your vocabulary as you learn power verbs and their common uses to describe personality, hobbies, and needs. You will also learn how to communicate preferences and improve your conversational skills.

To provide the greatest availability of start dates we have assigned multiple teachers to this class. All teachers will cover the same class material however their teaching styles may vary.

Sam is simply the best instructor ever! I have learned so much from him and I enjoyed our online tutoring sessions. My Spanish has definitely improved a ton and he made learning so much fun.
