I am a tutor who earned a music teaching degree, substitute taught, and didn't become a school teacher. I held professional tech retail jobs and am supplementing my life with my passion - education.

Whatever subject or instrument I teach, I celebrate students' successes; and I enjoy helping learners have new aha moments.

The majority of my students take guitar, bass guitar, or Spanish lessons. I am an educator and help my students learn other skills and knowledge sets too.

I went to Ohio State University for college, earned a BA in Music Education, and graduated Cum Laude. I also spent 4 years in the Ohio State University Marching Band.

Our son first time playing bassoon. Base on my son experience, he find Joshua to be very nice, patients, and explains a lot of information. It help him understand about the instrument and the sound when he play. He do have a sense of humor which help my son to have fun and be more comfortable. He also teaches other instruments, too. Highly recommended to everyone!!!!

About Me:

I work extremely well with people of all ages and absolutely love to teach. My full time job is training employees how to use software and computers. On my luckier days, I get to share my love and passion for volleyball!

Overall, I’ve been playing for 16 years and coaching for over 8 years. I started playing in grade school onto competitively at the collegiate level. I am active in the volleyball community and now play recreationally in tournaments and leagues.

I have coaching experience with middle school, high school Junior Varsity, Varsity as well as club volleyball. I started coaching in 2011 and quickly learned that introducing this sport to a younger age group is as challenging as it is enjoyable. Working with kids truly sparks joy in my life!

Back to the serious stuff....I have my American Cross CPR, First-A
id, NFHS Concussion, NFHS Coaching certificates and I’ve attended a handful of Volleyball clinics here in WA and CA over the years. I became a member of Puget Sound USA Volleyball and recently volunteered as a volleyball coach for the USA Special Olympic Games 2018.

At the end of the day, I seek opportunities to transfer my knowledge to others and always hope to make a difference.

Lesson Details:

Before and after each activity I like taking the time to explain and answer questions because it's important for athletes to learn how to properly execute drills as well as understand the concepts behind what they are doing. A typical session will be customized to the athlete’s goals. I will provide detailed instructions, a quick demo, and then have the athlete briefly practice perfecting their form by themselves and get some repetitions in. Next, they will nail down some drills with me focusing on footwork and ball control. Last but not least, they will work with other players and perform in team environment. Before moving onto the next lesson, there will be opportunities to ask questions. Afterwards, athletes will be given extra resources such as videos, write-ups, at-home drills they can practice, and workouts/activities to try on their own time to try to target and strengthen muscles needed.

Online lessons are convenient and can be a fun and interactive way to learn from the comfort of your own home. Athletes are given the private and dedicated attention they need to improve through the use of training videos. The cost is of course lower as well - please message me for more details.

I’m Dy’Mond ( pronounced Dy’Mond), I have had a love for dance since I was 8 years old. I specialize in hip hop and freestyle and love the art of dance as you are able to create various movements and express yourself. Any form of music or beat that I hear it’s just a natural instinct to move, whether it’s tapping my feet or bopping my head.

I have danced competitively since 2009 and have been teaching since 2012. I believe that everyone has an inner dancer within and it just takes time, motivation, and dedication to get it out. I’m very patient and work at the pace of the student. Whether you want to learn basic rhythm, technique, or latest dance moves I got you. I also enjoy choreographing for retirement parties, weddings, birthdays, and other special events. Come train with me and I’ll have you feeling confident on the dance floor at
the next special event, club, dance class/team, auditions, whatever it is that you desire. I’m here to guide you!

About April
Online volleyball lessons are an excellent way for young middle school and high school volleyball players to quickly improve their individual skills through a private coaching experience.

These lessons are conducted by me, a former elite pro indoor and beach volleyball player and USA Volleyball High Performance instructor April C on a weekly basis.
Why Take Volleyball Lessons with me, Coach April?

Volleyball is composed of six individual skills.
-setting
-blocking
-serving
-spiking
-defense
-passing
When a player has a problem, I break down the skill into its multiple upper and lower body performing parts.

Then I focus on building, strengthening or correcting the body parts that perform specific aspects of the specific skill.

That's why I am successful.
Because I break down the multiple parts of each skill...a
nd then, body part by body part, focus and apply exercises that
-build strength strength
-increases foot speed
-increase body and muscle control in low defensive positions
-build stamina and conditioning
-increase arm swing rotation speed
-improve spike approach foot speed
-improve serving technique
-improve blocking and swing blocking footwork along the net
to each particular body part that has to perform that skill.

That's what sets me apart.

Volleyball lessons are tailored to help
-identify weaknesses, then strengthen them.
-to breakdown, then build up proper performance skills, in order to enhance the use of the correct technique of each of the six basic skills
-to create and enforce muscle memory in order to re-program and correct bad habits
-with the ultimate goal of helping players visualize, develop and identify realistic volleyball playing goals
-increase the workload and stress load within a positive learning environment so players can deal comfortably with stressful situations in game environments

My mission is for each privately trained player to
-assist and support players in developing confidence in playing their specific position on the court, while developing a college prep mentality
-teach players how to work hard and think fast under/in stressful game like situations
-provide a confidence building but challenging environment where players appreciate hard work and discipline and appreciate seeing their own improvement

Strongly recommend any parent in the Las Vegas area to seek out Coach April if your child desires to learn the game of volleyball. By far, she’s the best inspiring and developmental Coach our daughter has had within the last four years. Since attending boot camps, private training sessions, and clinics led by Coach April in the last couple of years, we’ve personally witnessed our daughter’s growth and development improve tremendously. Coach April not only provides exceptional Training and Coaching, but she also teaches her girls vital leadership and life skills that can be used later in life as adults. Her sessions are demanding and fast-paced, but her coaching does not break you down but build you up. As parents, we’ve witnessed significant improvements in speed, agility, serving, digging, and passing.

Coach April has helped me so much over the past year! She helped me elevate my game from playing half of the time to being a full rotation starter! She has played the game for a long time, so she has many insightful comments and corrections that help you fix your mistakes. I recommend her private lessons and bootcamps to all the volleyball players I know because she is so amazing!!

I have been training with Coach April for 2 years now and I have improved tremendously. She does an incredible job of giving correction as soon as it's needed and having a balance of pushing us and congratulating us when we deserve it. By going to her bootcamp and semi-private lessons I went from not being able to serve over the net at all to being able to place a controlled serve anywhere on the court. Coach April is the best volleyball coach I've ever had!

As a Washington State native - I am all about the outdoors, living a healthy lifestyle and adventure. My interests and experiences are what makes me who I am today - a traveler and a yogi. I love meeting new people! Learning about their lives and what makes them who they are as well. Making these connections and relationships through out our lives is what makes it interesting.

I have done many solo travels around the world and every time better than the last. Having the space to detach from normal life and have a new experience is the greatest gift.

As yogis, the students understand this gift - we understand having a space for your practice physically and mentally is a tool we can use to our advantage. Cleansing our body and mind. For those who have not yet had their first yoga class this is something to look forward too! As you practi
ce more and incorporate mediation, self-study and other aspects you will find your peace.

Being a instructor is important to me because I feel everyone has a the opportunity to life a long healthy life and if they want to do so with yoga; then I am proud to be the one teaching! Taking the time for the mental practice is just as important as the physical practice, being a yogi is a way of life and I find it so beautiful.

I would love to help any future student of mine to find their own yogic path. Whether it be just having a nice flow once a week or if you want to learn some new asanas (poses), about The Yoga Sutras or begin meditating - I am able and happy to help!

Hey everyone! My name is Flynn Patrick and I am super, DUPER, excited to start NBA Jedi Training. Holy Macaroni!

A little about me: I received a bachelor's degree from Florida Gulf Coast University in Communication and have made NBA content online since 2005!

In July, I finished my first novel, the 2019 NBA Yearbook. I have watched EVERY SINGLE GAME in the NBA since November 2017 and as you will see in the yearbook, have quite literally studied every single player in the NBA.

Do you want to be great? The path starts in the mind!

In NBA Jedi Training, I will teach students how the most successful players in the world separate themselves from the rest of the pack. We will dive deep inside the forest and we will study how you can emulate any player you would like!!!

A typical 60 minute NBA Jedi Training Consists of:

-Pick a player yo
u would like to emulate
-10 minutes of meditation
-Film study of said player, where we then put the training into practice.

I would love to get to know more about all of you and can't wait to hear back!

I am 100% SELF MADE. I went from obese and hating my life to healthy and ready for anything. When I first wanted to lose weight it was hard finding things that worked for me. Most fitness influencers have always had a skinnier physique and ate relatively decent. I ate whatever I wanted at anytime of the day, and rarely even went on walks. I had to master my mind and body by myself with no knowledge of how to even begin. NOW.. I go to the gym almost every day and eat healthier than anyone I know. Trust me, if I did this so can you.
