Initially impressed with Charles video displaying his prowess with the guitar. Even further impressed with his patience with my over eager 9 yr. Old on her first lesson. And he is a local talent!

This is it. If you are looking for actual self-defense - effective martial arts - we encourage you to take classes with Master Yoshifumi. My Martial Srts training includes Japanese Karate ,Jujitsu along with more than 40 martial arts combined. The training is for actual dangerous, life-threatening encounters. The training goes beyond the sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to overcome your attacker, or multiple attackers, with skills that were developed not as a sport, but, instead, as true self-defense, to significantly harm or deter whomever poses a threat.

My Martial Arts, including all that is Japanese Karate Jujitsu, is taught here to teens, adults, those in law enforcement, and anyone needing real life saving protection.

Mr Yoshi is an amazing teacher! Although I was very nervous, he carefully explained things and encouraged me. He wrote everything, clearly, so I could study later and made sure I understood the meaning behind the words and the reasons those phrases were used, in what context and to whom. I'm extremely happy that I've taken lessons from him. Thank you Mr Yoshi and Take Lessons! I'm even more dedicated to learning Japanese now!

After Practice of Oyamada karate......!
The core emphasis in Oyamada Karate is use of the Sabaki Method, a system of techniques employed with the goal of turning an opponent's power and momentum against opponents and re- positioning oneself to the opponent's -blind- spot to counterattack from a more advantageous position.

She is a well versed artist with many different skills, though where she shines is in drawing which has helped me in my understanding in the concepts of light and shadow, gesture and figure drawing, as well as how different strokes and the effects they carry, whether using graphite, charcoal, pastels, and other mediums. It all came to use in my college application process for developing my portfolio as I was accepted into a variety of colleges and universities across the country

Ms Goldenbaum has been by far the best artistic navigator. Not only has she taught me how to stroke a brush, she taught me how to really tap in with my mind and become one with the art itself. If it wasn’t for Ms Goldenbaum, I wouldn’t know as much as I do now about things like abstract art , water colors and primary colors. Shouts to Ms G!

Ms.Goldenbaum has taught me numerous techniques and skills when it came to photography and art overall. She is patient, a team player and she really guides you to see more than art by itself. She has taught me that art is almost another language for people to express themselves freely. Through a camera lens too, you can capture more than just one picture because one picture can tell a story. Thank you Ms.Gold!
