I played basketball competitively from 2007 to 2012 and recreational from 2012 to present. Through my years of playing I have found methods that work very well for players new to the game to increase their knowledge on the game as well as performance. I will urge you to push yourself in every aspect of my lessons and I look forward to working with you.

The real fun begins at the next session where the client will be provided with a customized program that will focus on the following:

Coach Burnett is an excellent coach. Not only did my son get better at basketball, but we use Coach Burnett's meditation technique for school also. As a result, my son's grades are up.

Basketball lessons with are unique because I focus on fundamentals. I am an encourager and not the type of coach who will motivate by yelling at student athletes. I teach the game in a manner in which can be easily learned and picked up. I know from past experience with other students that progress will come in a short time. Lessons with me are fun, encouraging and helpful.

After I had a career ending injury while attending Trinity University, I realized I still had a drive to get better. I decided that I wanted to use my skills I had acquired over the years to help others achieve what I never could.

I focus on dribbling and shooting skills and use a variety of drills and techniques to increase the players skill. Drills range from simple necessary drills that a first grader could do, all the way up to drills that college basketball players struggle with.

Because of the intensity of my training sessions, I ask that you come ready to work. It won't be easy, but you will get better.
