I swam and participated in water polo teams/clubs from my freshman year in high school through my senior year in college. I can help you work on your technique and endurance. I was a backstroker and free styler, but I have lots of experience in all styles. I can work with you as a beginner or if you want to improve your technique.
Sarah began swimming competitively in grade school, and has been coaching swimmers since 2008. She is a certified Water Safety Instructor through the American Red Cross. While earning a bachelor’s degree in music at the University of Hartford, Sarah developed a passion for open water swimming and triathlons. She specializes in water adaptation for young children and beginner-level adults. Sarah works with each client to set personal goals, structuring each lesson to develop the skills needed to succeed, build endurance and have fun in the water. Outside of coaching, Sarah regularly competes in endurance races and triathlons.
I taught swimming for 13 years at a school in New York. In college I was swim team captain and won a bronze at nationals. I am extremely patient. I can improve your skills at every level, every stroke. I bring camera and software to teach.
I love to swim and know that it is a great skill to have. I can teach beginners and intermediate some of the basic strokes and help people feel comfortable in the water. I am a year round surfer and love to snorkel as well! I have access to a pool in Solana Beach!
I have been actively swimming for the past 3 years in triathlons. This includes indoor and outdoor swimming. Whether you are a beginner or want to improve your stroke to be more efficient swimming, everyone could use swimming lessons.
