Anyways, I have lots of experience working with children through nannying and coaching. I recently trained for a film where I had to perfect the butterfly technique and had the pleasure of training with an Olympic swimmer and the swim coach at UCLA(just once but still cool).

For adults swimming is a wonderful alternative to the more taxing weight bearing exercises typically engaged in. Great for people with injuries or physical limitations.

My main focus as a swim instructor is to help students achieve their personal goals. For beginners, I focus on teaching them the techniques they need in order to properly swim all four strokes. For more advanced students, I help them perfect their strokes, stay in great physical condition, and I push them to be successful competitive swimmers.

I am a former state level swimmer who now teaches anyone who wants to master the water, be it a pool, a pond, the great big ocean or the local creek. I teach all skill levels, from kids who have never even touched the water to swimmers looking to compete at a high level.
I help swimmers master the basics, and learn how to build strength and skill in the water. Through drills, focus on technique, and building of core strength, I will help you prepare for higher level competition, or just learn to be safe and have more fun in the water.
I began swimming when I was 9 years old, and have competed in community, high school, and club teams. While my competitive days are done, I have helped swimmers go on to compete as high as the Division 1 college level.
