Lessons and Classes
The MFC fencing program consists of a combination of private lessons, group classes, open bouting, camps and tournaments.
Recreational fencers typically attend one to two times per week while competitive fencers attend three to four times per week.
Classes for musketeers (4-6) and beginner adults(18+) are 1 hr in length, all equipment is provided.
Classes for beginner and intermediate youth fencers are 1.5 hrs in length. All intermediate fencers must have their own electric equipment.
Classes for competitive and elite fencers are 2 hrs in length. All fencers this level must have their own electric equipment.
Lessons are one on one with the coach for 20 or 40 minute intervals.
Club members can sign up for lessons using their online accounts.

I began fencing in High School and studied privately with John Geraci, fencing Master at West Point Military Academy. I have taught fencing at Wyoming Seminary, Western Wayne HS and the Fencing Exchange in Scranton, PA At this time I am available for private instruction. My husband is former assistant coach at University of Pennsylvania for four years and a former National coach of Serbia and Kuwait. A little about my academic background: I graduated from the Lycee Francais in Los Angeles with numerous Presidential Academic Awards, obtained the French Baccalaureat in Philosophy/Literature with honorable mention. I Majored in French and Francophone Studies at Barnard College, Columbia University in New York and received recognition for being a full time student athlete in fencing. I received All American awards and All Ivy awards all three years while in New York and participated in the 2004 World Championships in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. I studied abroad in Paris at the Sorbonne,Paris IV Junior Year. I acquired teaching experience at UCLA in the French graduate program and have tutored throughout college. I love helping my students get their needs met!
