Are you ready to fall in love with your voice? Do you want to have fun while doing so? If your voice isn’t becoming to you, YOU should be coming to ME! No bells, no whistles, just GUARANTEED RESULTS.

I have been the private vocal coach for multiple contestants on American Idol, America's Got Talent, The Voice and several other vocal competitions spanning over 10 countries. I also train business owners, salespeople and those who are simply terrified to present themselves in the art of public speaking.

This is NOT your average coaching session! This is for those who are ready to finally overcome the world’s #1 fear: PUBLIC PERFORMANCE.
Get ready to present yourself, business, product or service with confidence, personality and effectiveness.

My lighthearted and humorous approach to seemingly stressful situations, especially in the public performance sector, have made me a highly sought-after coach for one-on-one and group training.

My approach is designed to train and condition the entire body as an instrument, not just the oral portion of the voice. My 5-octave vocal range makes allows me to easily instruct my students in developing their whistle register. I have been trained in (and teach) Classical, Appoggio, jazz/improv, Seth Riggs' speech-level singing and other methodologies of singing and speaking.

My method of assessing and meeting the needs of each student enables me to assist them in bringing out the very best in their capabilities. If you desire quality, effectiveness and noticeable improvement in your singing, writing, public speaking or overall performance, I am the coach for you!
Whether you are a beginner or professional, I make sure that you are comfortable and have a great time while learning. I am flexible with your needs so feel free to let me know what you want from your lessons and we can work towards your goal to your satisfaction.

Not only am I a coach, I’m a professional singer and public speaker, so I utilize and perfect my own techniques on a regular basis. I have the privilege of being a classically-trained pianist and vocalist, having studied at Sherwood Conservatory of Music, Vandercook College of Music, The Second City, University of Chicago, ETA Performing Arts Center and many other fine institutions.

Children love working with me because I make learning fun and they have a high retention rate of the techniques that I teach them. I am easygoing, funny and offer a minimalist, casual and relaxed environment for everyone. My adult students have a blast because our lessons feel more like a friendly visit with lighthearted humor.

Our time together is very valuable. If you are not on time for your session, the missed portion will not be made up at the end of the session. If I am not on time, I will make up the missed portion at the end of the session or alternate agreed-upon time. We had a very good first lesson. I had an online class so the only drawback is that there is a little limitation when trying to focus on head and neck placement specific to voice coaching with the distance learning. However Margo was Great! I'm looking forward to our next session.

Margo does a great job of tailoring the lessons to your needs. As a beginner and even having a much lower register than her, she's helping me make large strides after only a few lessons

What I like about Margo is that she will help you to relax, and she is very personable. She makes the lessons fun! While in conversation, she is able to help me not only figure out my vocal range, but made me use my diaphragm to put strength into it (and not sing from the the throat). If you want a teacher who is knowledgeable about technique and is dedicated to help you reach your potential, she IS that teacher!

Margo'so an amazing vocalist. She's a polished and expierenced instructor who offers a very practical and fun approach to singing.

In three short weeks she's helped me understand the dynamics I need to implement to get the best out of my voice. As a result I'm already resonating with more power and clarity. Margo Rocks!! 🌟🌟

Let me begin by saying I have never EVER written a review for someone, nevertheless, had singing lessons. If you're looking for someone to expand your range, hit those high or low notes, make you laugh while subconsciously learning the material, make you comfortable while helping you reach you singing goal, and teach you strategies in singing-- Margo is definitely the person to do so. I am pleasantly impressed by her knowledge, singing, and teaching abilities. Definitely deserves more than five stars.

I enjoy working with Margo. She pulls me out of my comfort zone with ease. Margo's style of teaching makes it fun and interesting, yet I still feel that I am learning. I have only taken three lessons so far, and personally I hear and feel the improvement in my overall performance. She is great, and I look forward to continuing my lessons with her.

I used to be terrified of crowds and speaking on front of large groups. I now have more self-confidence and poise when I give presentations after working with Margo. I am grateful to have finally overcome this fear.

My 8-year-old son and I both take lessons with Margo and we are beyond impressed! My range has expanded significantly and my son's voice is going through a transition so he's been nervous about singing and speaking in public. His voice is much better and he even has more confidence now. I recommend Margo to everyone I know and now two of my friends train with her as well. We are all very happy to have found Margo!

I have studied with many great teachers over the past 40 years, but Margo is the best in my book. Her methods are unconventional and they work. She's funny and makes you feel comfortable no matter your level of performance.

Opera Voice · In home

To say that my opera lessons with Margo have been miraculous would be an understatement. My family and friends had repeatedly encouraged me to pursue my singing and I wrote it off as hyperbole. When I finally decided to take it seriously I was afraid I was too old to start pursuing a career in the arts. Margo explained to me that some performers can be in their 30s or 40s before reaching full vocal maturity. She immediately took me under her wing which has resulted in near perfect pitch. Under her tutelage I have learned to evoke emotion from my audience thru both song and dramatization. Needless to say, her being multi-lingual has no doubt made her uniquely qualified to do so. If you want a disciplined, dedicated, no nonsense instructor, call her. You won't be disappointed.

My writing was sub-par, to say the least. Margo helped me to paint a vivid picture with my words, and also create melodies to best express them. Now, I consult her every time I have a song or poem to write!

This voice coach is a musical genius when it comes to getting the most out of her students. My son never really showed the enthusiasm for singing until Margo started working with him. In just a few short months, Margo has him singing with confidence and his vocals are off the chart! I give a lot of credit to her techniques and style of teaching. If you or someone you know is looking for a great voice coach, you'll want to employ Margo's services. Even today we call on her to tune up his voice and help him smooth out the rough edges.

Margo has been a GEM! I have tried vocal lessons in the past with 1 instructor and didn't stay longer than an month. I absolutely LOVE working with Margo. From the first lesson she brought me OUT of my comfort zone which was needed because where I was, was all wrong. She is teaching me how to use my voice, how to shape my face how to escape the issues I deal with for my allergies and still be able to use my voice and sing. These beginning lessons I have been having with her have been extremely valuable and I will be here to stay. Her style, approach and experience are definitely worth every bit that you will spend and more.

Singing Lessons for My Daughter

My nine year old daughter has been diagnosed with ADD which is ADHD without the hyperactivity. So much of her trouble comes from people not understanding that although she is quite, she still struggles to maintain focus and so things such as following directions becomes a challenge for her. Margo was very relaxed yet firm with my daughter. She offered encouragement and support that allowed my daughter to feel comfortable but to also know this is a serious environment. Another thing Margo does is lessons via SKYPE which help with consistency anytime my daughter is away.

I Am Learning How To Use My Voice Like An Instrument

Margo’s vocal training technique helped me to become a more consistent vocalist. I use to reach for notes when I was concerned about hitting the wrong note. She taught me where to place notes in my mouth by using my Jaw, head, body, etc. In addition, Margo taught me how to phrase the songs that I like to sing more beautifully.

Thank you :-D

It was a great ffirst lesson

There are so many good instructors on this site it was very hard to choose one. I was somewhat nervous about my choice, not knowing how the "chemistry" would be. My first session with Margo was excellent. I found her to be very light in spirit. She is very pleasant and relaxed, and has great skill in helping you to relax. She has a wonderful sense of humor which makes the session not intense. In the first session she helped to reach notes that I have never been able to reach. I feel that my experience with her will continue to be very pleasant and that I will reach my goals. I would definitely recommend her to everyone.
