Yoga and meditation have been in my life for ten years. After training and being certified with a Yoga Alliance school, I started teaching six years ago. I love teaching beginners and using therapeutic modifications to safely engage with injuries.

Yoga is a practice that can offer many gifts. The movements and other practices, like mindful breathing and guided meditation, bring stress-relieving benefits, no matter what practice level or time commitment.

al experiences. Amanda began an Ashtanga Vinyasa practice in 2005. She was honored to deepen it with alignment-focused teachers Sue Elkind and Naime Jezzeny and completed Anusara Yoga teacher training with them in 2008 (at Yogaphoria). She continued vinyasa, meditation, and chakra studies at ISHTA (Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantra, and Ayurveda) with Alan Finger. Always a student, Amanda avidly studies with teachers and thinkers from all yoga traditions.

I truly enjoyed my first session, in particular stretching and learning how to breath properly (funny how you take that for granted).

My only glitch was my camera, but we resolved that after a bit of effort. :)

About Lilia

Hello, my name is Lilia! I have over a decade experience in teaching and offer private lessons in guitar, piano, and voice with a balance between theory, technique, and and ear training to help you play the songs you love to listen to.

I created my own lesson book for guitar and am currently working on creating lesson books for piano. These lesson books use popular songs to keep learning engaging and fun! In 2017, my husband and I created our own music lesson program called Suncho School of Music!

In addition to music, I have always had a love of sports and fitness and earned a certification in personal training from the American Council on Exercise. I love to share both my passions for fitness and music with whomever would like to learn from me.

My education includes a degree in Guitar Performance from the California Institute

of the Arts, earned in 2014.

In addition to teaching, I play the role of as the lead vocalist, guitarist, and composer in my rock band, called Karkaza. We are currently working on recording our debut album and playing shows in Los Angeles and other states in the US.

About Me:

I work extremely well with people of all ages and absolutely love to teach. My full time job is training employees how to use software and computers. On my luckier days, I get to share my love and passion for volleyball!

Overall, I’ve been playing for 16 years and coaching for over 8 years. I started playing in grade school onto competitively at the collegiate level. I am active in the volleyball community and now play recreationally in tournaments and leagues.

I have coaching experience with middle school, high school Junior Varsity, Varsity as well as club volleyball. I started coaching in 2011 and quickly learned that introducing this sport to a younger age group is as challenging as it is enjoyable. Working with kids truly sparks joy in my life!

Back to the serious stuff....I have my American Cross CPR, First-A

id, NFHS Concussion, NFHS Coaching certificates and I’ve attended a handful of Volleyball clinics here in WA and CA over the years. I became a member of Puget Sound USA Volleyball and recently volunteered as a volleyball coach for the USA Special Olympic Games 2018.

At the end of the day, I seek opportunities to transfer my knowledge to others and always hope to make a difference.

Lesson Details:

Before and after each activity I like taking the time to explain and answer questions because it's important for athletes to learn how to properly execute drills as well as understand the concepts behind what they are doing. A typical session will be customized to the athlete’s goals. I will provide detailed instructions, a quick demo, and then have the athlete briefly practice perfecting their form by themselves and get some repetitions in. Next, they will nail down some drills with me focusing on footwork and ball control. Last but not least, they will work with other players and perform in team environment. Before moving onto the next lesson, there will be opportunities to ask questions. Afterwards, athletes will be given extra resources such as videos, write-ups, at-home drills they can practice, and workouts/activities to try on their own time to try to target and strengthen muscles needed.

Online lessons are convenient and can be a fun and interactive way to learn from the comfort of your own home. Athletes are given the private and dedicated attention they need to improve through the use of training videos. The cost is of course lower as well - please message me for more details.

Monica has taught both of my daughters and they hold her in high regard. She is positive role model and makes learning cheers fun. She is very approachable and I could not have ever asked for a better Cheer Coach for my kids. They are now adults and still keep in contact with her. i would recommend her to anyone who wants to put their child into Cheer.

Mrs. Monica taught me for about 5 or 6 years and she was my absolute favorite instructor I have had! The routines were cute and fun to learn, as well as perform. Monica cared about each of her students, got to know each of them very well, and wanted to see them do the best they could while still having fun.
