Talented teachers are rare. Like a great coach i sports... the coach doesn’t need to be the top athlete in his field to know how to teach each team member to hone their best abilities, he just has to know and see how to teach you how to get there. Being an outstanding teacher is a great talent all in itself... and that is Jesse. He has that quality and ability to lead, focus and take you where you want to go.

Jesse has given directions on how to successfully become a better musician. His approach and explanation on musical theories was much more understandable than what I was previously reading. Overall, I found the lessons to be very usefull.

My six-year old is really enjoying his piano classes with Maggie! She made great recommendations for practice books and my kiddo seems to be learning quickly!

Maggie is great with my kids. She understands each one's skill level and adjusts her lessons accordingly. I appreciate her patience, especially since my kids are just starting to learn how to play the piano. The best part is that my kids are learning and having fun at the same time.

As a adult student, I have a bit advantage at understanding the theory relatively easily. Maybe also have the willingness to practice on my own. But on the other side, the stiffness of fingers and the frustration of “I know I should do that but just couldn’t “ are common scenarios too. Maggie could adjust the pace and the materials based on my progress which helps a lot. She is also put equally emphasis on both technic and the understanding of music itself, which makes studying piano a vey enjoyable experience.

Music is a subject that anyone can relate to. Playing and performing music is a dream that many people aspire. I have watched my students grow from complete beginners to taking stages in front of a large audience.

I am always thorough about teaching my students the basics: understanding proper technique, dynamics, rhythm, and timing. I teach my students to play to a metronome, read music and rhythms, play songs, and play along with other live musicians. I specialize in many various genres of music including funk, rock, pop, hip-hop, jazz, Latin, prog, and metal. Over time, you will learn to play like the professionals that inspire you.

About Dennis

Hello, my name is Dennis. Music and art have always been a huge part of my life. I have been playing drums for 16 years and have been teaching for 8. I grew up learning to play drums from a private instructor, and have been studying on my own ever since. I have played in many bands in my music c

He is patient with his students, explains the movements and walks through the forms with you. "Emily (Lijuan) Feng is an excellent practitioner and teacher of tai chi. I am an older woman who had been unable to make any progress with a previous tai chi instructor, I was able to begin learning the 8 form from my first lesson with Emily. Even when teaching a large class, she provides individual instruction to help students improve their form and to catch up with the others if they are just beginning. She knows a seemingly unlimited number of exercises and techniques to help her students, and they can learn correct form, as well, just from watching her own masterful modeling of tai chi. Having now learned the 8 and the 24 forms of tai chi from Emily, I have incorporated them into my exercise routines, and find that practicing them regularly improves my balance and flexibility."
