I'm Valentina and I'm Italian, born and raised in Torino, Italy. Since I was young I use to speak french with my dad and I use to loved it!
I studied it at school too and I've traveled a lot of time to the close France to practice and learn more about the french culture. I've just moved here in Michigan and I'm very excited to share the beautiful and romantic French language with you! I have been teaching French for the past 2 years. As far as my teaching experience goes, I have previously tutored French for young students ranging in age from elementary school to adults while I still lived in Turin.

A graduate with a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education with majors in Spanish (Native Speakers' fluency) and German
( Native Speakers' fluency) in Language, Literature, and History, and Piano/Vocal Performance (Music); and minors in French Studies (Advanced Language and Culture), Italian, Linguistics, and Interpreting/Translation.

He has spoken German and Spanish since the age of 11 due to his German upbringing with a German step-father as well as his Hispanic background from his real father. He also studied at
Die Hochschule der Musik und Darstellende Kunst, Wien, Osterreich (Vienna, Austria) and has been active in the Latino communities in the USA. He speaks Spanish at home, Italian and French with his friends. He regularly keeps in contact with friends that reside in Calabria and Nice.

Regardless of whether I am teaching language, civilization, or literature, my main goal is to help keep my students engaged, interested, and challenged in learning. In teaching the French language I focus on developing strong conversational skills, as well as writing and reading. To supplement the class session, I use online resources, authentic documents, and regular assessment of oral and listening language skills.
