Gina has a BA and MA in French language and literature. She is very active member of the Alliance Française of Charleston, participating in French conversation groups, French book and film clubs and other activities to promote the French language and culture. Gina has traveled and continues to travel frequently throughout France, Belgium and French-speaking Canada. She has been tutoring and teaching French since 1990 and loves to share her passion for the French language.

I have been teaching for over ten years and most recently for USG officers on a one-on-one basis. In addition I conduct online classes for them as well as for private students, whom levels range from beginners to level 4. Born, raised and educated in France, my style is unique as I adapt myself to the student's needs, creating lessons plans based on the student's abilities and progress.

I've been teaching french for about 6 years now and got experience teaching different level and ages. I studied different languages myself, I understand the obstacles that come with taking on a new language. Since I am a native french speaker I can help with grammar, vocabulary and especially pronunciation.

French native, I have a degree in French teaching as a foreign language from Alliance Francaise Paris and over 10 years experience with all level/age students.

I also speak 4 foreign languages so I understand what it takes to learn a different language and I have the methods to make it a simpler process.

I have experience teaching and working with children as well as with adults. I feel comfortable teaching students in all different levels, from the beginner up to the advanced level. The typical approach that I use is a rather communicative one. I like to encourage students to speak and get engaged in real life situations.

I like to know my students, who you are and what your interests are so that I am not just your teacher, but also a friend. I like to think that I am a humorous person and it always makes me feel great when we can share a laugh or two in the class.
