I understand how frustrating can be to learn a new language, believe me, I learned English when I was 20. It took me a while but i mastered it. I'm also studying French and it's getting easier.
I will teach you spanish by actually TALKING to you, not by making you read books or repeating the same words over and over. We rehearse actual conversations that will help you in the real world. Yes, we all get it, "las rosas son rojas y la biblioteca es azul" but who actually says those words in a conversation? Schedule a lesson with me and start talking EN ESPAÑOL HOY!
Hi there! I'm Xavier V. from Bogota, Colombia living in sunny Miami since 2008. I'm bilingual English/Spanish, proficient in French and learning Romanian. I graduated with the highest honors in Music Business from Miami Dade College in 2015, I've been working in broadcast media since after school and now working with ESPN in Coral Gables, FL.
I'm focused, patient, enthusiastic and very active! "Schedule a lesson with me now and start either speaking in Spanish or playing Drums from day 1!."
** Drum prospects read below ***
I've been playing drums since 2000. First I studied drums in Colombia with Shakira's former drummer Italo Lamboglia for 4 years and then when I moved here in US, I've kept refining my craft taking drum lessons at Miami Dade College, learning new techniques and so on.
I'm currently an independent drummer. I
play with many artists and bands as a freelancer, So I get to perform very often live in different venues all over South Florida. I also freelance at different T.V. Networks as a background drummer and percussionist for artists promoting their songs on TV shows. I have won drum contests and competitions on stores and online as well. I have recorded various records and singles with major producers and performed in different countries as a hired gun.
I've been teaching and sharing my knowledge in drums with others since I first started playing drums! I'm a believer that the more you share, the more you learn, and overtime I've realized that the process never stops. At first I was a drum instructor at a local church in Colombia. I had 10 - 20 students in a single classroom -- It was a great experience! Then when I came to the U.S. I've been mainly instructing privately, so I have plenty of experience.
Schedule a lesson with me now and start learning the art of playing drums. I am looking forward to meeting new and eager students who really want to bring their inner music out to share with the rest of us and develop their skills to the peak of their abilities. After all, you might be the next music prodigy, but perhaps you don't know it yet! See you soon!

Edgar really helped me keep up my Spanish conversational skills. He was always on time and polite, helpful and knowledgable.
Spanish lessons with me are unique because I am a native English speaker who has had a true love for the language since I was young. I was forced to take Spanish my freshman year of high school, and discovered that I loved it. I studied it for fun outside of class and practiced whenever I could. I ended up going on to earn several advanced Spanish credits during college. I understand that language is always evolving and changing; thus, I do my best to keep up with the current trends in the Spanish language and its regional variations.
I have been dancing in some form or fashion since the age of 3. I did ballet and tap recitals in preschool, took recreational gymnastics and cheerleading classes in elementary school, and did allstar dance and allstar cheerleading in middle school and high school. When I went away to college, I continued to take classes in many dance styles when I had time. I have never lost my love for dancing. My favorite styles are modern and ballet. I currently own a studio in the DFW metroplex and am excited to expand my teaching to online students!

I am a native Spanish speaker but I also graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts in Romance language at UNC Chapel Hill. I believe being a native speaker and also majoring in this language helped me understand how to help someone else learn standard and common spanish used by the majority of people. I not only took courses in spanish but also italian and japanese, since I was also a student learning a different language I believe I understand how frustrating it can be to want to speak and understand the language rapidly but not be able to. The best way to learn a different language is to have someone who is fluent in it speak to you everyday. I can help you learn standard spanish used in professional setting and I can also help you understand the spanish that is used by people living in Mexico and many living in USA. There are many phrases that are used in this country that when translated into english do not make sense but I can help you understand all of these. I am currently living in ...
Hello! My name is Alondra Vargas and I am a Spanish tutor. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2018 so it hasn't been long since I was a student myself! I love sharing my knowledge in the Spanish language but I also studied Italian and Japanese. A fun fact about me is that I am currently living in Mexico in order to expand my knowledge in the language and the culture. Over the years I have volunteered at elementary schools, hospitals, and nursing homes where I have applied my knowledge of the language to help others communicate with the world. I loved my years interpreting therefore I am currently taking a course myself to expand my knowledge as a medical interpreter. I understand what it's like to be a student and feel frustrated at times but I am here to help and make understanding this language much easi
I have an avid passion for teaching and I’m very fluent in Spanish. I’d love to help others learn about this very interesting language!
I am an avid English and Spanish teacher who has a great passion for teaching. Ever since I was really young, I always found joy in helping others learn.
I currently teach small classes with young children aged 6-12 from the Caribbean and I love to sing, dance, bake and much more! I am very kind and respectful and I can teach students how to read and speak English and Spanish fluently. I can also help students to gain confidence in the way they read and speak and to express themselves with these languages.
Practice conversational Spanish to increase fluency with a focus on pronunciation. We will have fun and talk about your topics of interest.
I am a certified teacher with a Masters in Special Education and TESOL certification. I am currently an online teacher and teach English to children in another country. I am patient and friendly. My teaching style is using visuals, music, and movement. I individualized my lessons to meet each student's needs. This helps reduce anxiety while balancing the lesson to challenge the student, to learn at their zone of proximal development.
I have taught in schools for many years, but recently decided to teach online to be able to spend more time with my family. I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to do what I love doing and that is teaching and learning.
Having been raised in Central and South America, Spanish is my passion and I love sharing it with others! I’m happy to teach you, no matter what your level is in Spanish! I also have had the privilege of dealing with people from infants to over 100 years of age!
