My name is Gregorio M. I am a native speaker of Spanish with a very clear pronunciation. I am a Spanish instructor at Washtenaw Community College. I have a degree in chemistry and a master degree in environmental chemistry.
I have been working as a Spanish tutor in the Ann Arbor area since 2009.
I can teach you all aspects of Spanish language: listening comprehension, pronunciation, reading capacity and analysis, writing, grammar rules, slang and colloquial Spanish, academic Spanish, conversational fluency. Additionally, I could give you, if you are interested, information about Hispanic culture and customs, and more.
You can ask me anything about Spanish and get an explanation. If you ask me "Why do people say this or that in Spanish?", you will get a reasonable answer. I'm not one of those teachers who say "It's just because it's like that in Spanish".

So much fun practicing my Spanish in various ways. Casual conversation, news coverage in Guatemala, clinical data review. Prof Gregorio is so patient, flexible, knowledgeable, kind... our classes are great.

I studied with Gregorio for nearly a year in preparation for my recent travel to South America for my work.
I really felt well prepared and was able to speak and teach in Spanish.  Gregorio was an excellent teacher, very patient and also very flexible regarding my demanding work schedule.  I hope to have more travel assignments to Spanish speaking countries in the future- and I will definitely contact Gregorio for some touch up help.
