I am fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian. I love to teach Spanish in such a way that my students may be able to have conversations comfortably with Spanish-speakers.

I have been teaching Spanish since 1973, when I was 20 years old.
I did it for 10 years long (and still do) and I used so many methods that I finally came up with my own method to teach students of any age, any background and any motivation to learn a system that efficient, that will have you speak Spanish, and have a normal conversation from lesson one! I focus on verbs and practical conversation but no nonsense stories most books have. Books are only optional! And I am available also in between lessons and for as long as you need me in your lifetime with no retainer fees! The vocabulary is Latin American real life as you see it in the news! And best of all, I speak Spanish since I was 7 years old, when I used to live in Uruguay! I speak and teach 7 languages, soI know what is is to learn a foreign language and I know how to make it easier for you!

I bring a passion to teaching Spanish that stems from being a teacher for over 30 years! I want to help students learn in a fun way by conversations that spark joy. My name is Viktor Malu and I'm a well-traveled linguist who is passionate about the nature and manifold applications of language. I have either lived or spent significant time in places where the languages I speak are alive and I strive to spark linguistic enthusiasm in the people around me. I have a talent for using existing knowledge of language, which we all have, even unknowingly, to make learning or improving a new language easier. Languages are vivid, fun, and adventurous, they often require patience and thrive with motivation - just like my classes!

I have recently graduated in Applied Intercultural Linguistics (B.A.) from the University of Augsburg, Germany. This is an interdisciplinary program that includes linguistic theory and practice as well as didactics and cultural studies. It allowed me to spend two years studying and living in the English-, Spanish- and French-speaking Americas and Portugal.
