As being a composer for short Anime films and having a Japanese background, I have worked with Japanese companies for many years and trained employees of different companies in not only speaking Japanese but also the business culture. But that is not all my classes are for everybody for those planning a trip to Japan. What's special of my classes is that we learn to have a conversation for different situations every week. Hi, I first taught Japanese to my friends at college in 2002 and I’ve always enjoyed teaching and interacting with students even though I didn’t expect it to become my career then. I have taught adults including senior citizens, college, high school and middle school students, and young children. Teaching Japanese to American military personnel and spouses who were stationed in Japan was the most rewarding experiences I’ve had. They truly needed the language skills to live in Japan, and they really appreciated that they were able to learn survival Japanese that’s instantly useful out in town.

I grew up in Japan and came to US to go to college. When I was a college student, I taught Japanese and English to middle and high school students during summer back in Japan. I have a Master of Education in TESL. I teach all levels including those who are starting out and also want to improve their fluency and understand the culture and history too!

I am a native Japanese speaker from Tokyo. I have served as an instructor at the Greater Louisville Regional Japanese Saturday School, which provides courses entirely in Japanese. I have helped students prepare for JLPT (Japanese-Language Proficiency Test) and the Japan Kanji Aptitude Test (Kanji Kentei).
