Japanese with Akane M.

Akane-sensei did great job explaining Japanese grammar and helped me with my pronounciation. She's very kind and funny and made learning something to look forward to. She also had the textbook that I use and other additional learning materials.

Taking lessons with Akane sensei is a pleasure. She makes learning fun and intuitive, whether we are working on basic skills and pronunciation or conversational Japanese. She is very patient and makes me feel successful after every lesson (even if I feel I haven’t done my homework properly!). I am becoming a better Japanese speaker (and listener) since I have been studying with Akane sensei. She will build your confidence!

My daughter is enjoying her Japanese language and cultural lessons with Akane-san. It's wonderful to have a teacher who can make learning both fun and engaging. A particularly special moment for my daughter was when Akane-san dressed her in a traditional Japanese kimono.
