Spanish is my second language. My mother was a Spanish teacher in the elementary school level and used music as an amazing resource for teaching Spanish to kids. I'll use the same techniques and ideas, as well as focusing on reading and writing the very romantic language.
About Olivia
Music and film are both passions of mine. I graduated from Berklee College of Music where I studied Songwriting and Music Therapy. I was pushed to my absolute limits lyrically and musically within these majors, and I am so grateful for it now that I'm on my own creative journey.
I have a great deal of experience, but I am also still learning. I think it is very important as a teacher to always be learning, especially through their students. Teaching these lessons is, of course, about progress and advancement - but also about enjoyment, confidence building and positive encouragement.

From my lessons, students will gain engaging and exciting instruction. Students will use Spanish every time we meet. My aim is to help you meet your goals and help you enjoy it along the way!
About Jimmy
As a current teacher, my primary goal is to make sure the students have engaging and fun experiences while learning Spanish. I do not lecture solely on the nuts and bolts of the language but rather allow the student to perform the language in order to learn it.
I do want to make clear that I do teach young children (ages 2-12) but I prefer to teach them in person and at least twice a week. I believe the experience to be more valuable that way.
Additionally, I ask that you and I talk for a while before signing up for lessons with me. I may not be able the person to give you what you need. I want to be sure your needs are met through Take Lessons and I may not be the person that can do that. So, please mess
I am always excited to teach someone this language I love so much.
¡Gracias!

About Michelle W.
ClosePuedes hablar español? I grew up in Los Angeles, so I had it around me at all times. I finally was able to properly learn it when I moved to Quito, Ecuador, using my past knowledge of French to learn it on the go. I then traveled all around South America, and people tell me I have a pretty funky accent, which I love.
About Michelle
I love learning languages in my spare time and practicing when I can. When I'm not looking a bit silly doing that, I'm usually reading, at a baseball game, hiking, or hanging out with friends. I keep active, making sure to run or climb a mountain when I can. However, it's equally as strong as my love for foods of all kinds.
I really look forward to getting to work with you and helping you with whatever I can!

About Michael F.
CloseMy students will learn how to read, write, and speak the language. I am fluent in the language and have tutored others in the language since I was in college. It's a wonderful and useful language to learn.
About Michael
As far as teaching baseball, I played for a Division 1 team in college. I also worked in one of the largest baseball camps in the Northeast, the New York Baseball Academy, throughout my entire collegiate career. I taught children the fundamentals of hitting and fielding in a way that was fun and easy to learn.

Hi! My name is Kate and I've been teaching Spanish for more than 4 years. I have DELE certificate (Diploma of Spanish as a Foreign Language). I taught in private schools and online. Also I had some experience of translation and I combined 2 jobs (translator and teacher) for 3 years.
I'm from Ukraine so my native languages are Ukrainian and Russian but I started learning Spanish when I was 9. I studied in Spanish school so I have been learning it for almost 20 years and I keep on learning new things. I've had a lot of practice with people from Spain and Latin America so I can explain you the difference between these languages.
I travelled to Spain some times and I worked in one of Spanish speaking countries in Africa. Also I worked in a Spanish company in Kiev for one year. Now I'm 27 and currently I live in the USA. I use Spanish every day and I continue doing my favorite work - teaching people.

I ensure lessons are fun, connected to the many Spanish speaking cultures and regions, and always ensure students review basics even if they are at a high level! Songs, personal examples, video clips, and interaction are a part of my lessons. Students learn to read, write, listen, and speak regardless of their language level.
