My name is Elayna and I am excited to be teaching and helping you all achieve your dream of learning Spanish. My dream is to start language learning schools on an international level. As a musician, I enjoy mixing music into the learning process and creating diverse ways of retention. This creates an enjoyable learning experience so that you can have fun! For the past year I have been teaching Spanish lessons to students of all ages; crafting each lesson to their needs and learning patterns. I am very excited to get to know you, and help you reach each of your language learning goals!

Growing up bilingual, allowed early exposure to the Spanish Language. Being brought up using two languages and two different cultures, allowed me to learn the challenges and benefits of learning another language. Which I feel helps me be a better teacher, understanding the challenges students may face but also sharing the benefits learning a foreign language has.

I have been teaching Spanish since 1973, when I was 20 years old.
I did it for 10 years long (and still do) and I used so many methods that I finally came up with my own method to teach students of any age, any background and any motivation to learn a system that efficient, that will have you speak Spanish, and have a normal conversation from lesson one! I focus on verbs and practical conversation but no nonsense stories most books have. Books are only optional! And I am available also in between lessons and for as long as you need me in your lifetime with no retainer fees! The vocabulary is Latin American real life as you see it in the news! And best of all, I speak Spanish since I was 7 years old, when I used to live in Uruguay! I speak and teach 7 languages, soI know what is is to learn a foreign language and I know how to make it easier for you!
