I have 6 years of experience teaching Spanish and English at both the high school and college levels. I have taught everything from Spanish 1 through advanced literature courses. In 2013 I completed my doctorate in Spanish Literature at Harvard University. I enjoy working with students one on one and helping them feel empowered to overcome the subjects that challenge them. I also have experience working with students with learning differences. I work with students of all ages.

Hello, my name is Anita and I am an enthusiastic semi- retired Spanish instructor with over 28 years of experience in Spanish instruction. A native Spanish speaker myself, born in Lima Peru and raised in the U.S., I hold a California Spanish Single Subject Teaching Credential specializing in Spanish language and Spanish literature. In addition, I possess a B.A. and M.A. in Applied Linguistics from California State University Northridge where I also minored in Spanish. I love teaching all levels of Spanish and have enjoyed working primarily with high school, college students and adults of all ages. I believe that it is never too late to acquire another language no matter your age.
