I have been teaching for 11 years, having taught students of all ages. Speaking is just as important as reading & writing, so there are always lots of dialogues & conversations. I also incorporate everyday experiences to make the language more accessible. I love languages & cultures, and try to make learning a new language an amazing experience!

About tina
I am currently a college professor. I received my Bachelors from Penn State University and my Masters from the University of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

Having lived in Spain, I learned first-hand the i
mportance of being able to communicate. I emphasize oral communication equally with reading & writing skills.

Even though I teach collegians, I have also taught young children & older adults. I adapt my teaching methods to best suit whatever age group I am working with.

I love languages and cultures, and am always trying to learn new things. As a student of dance for many years, I am a fan of Spanish & Hispanic music, which I also incorporate into some of my lessons.

I have also done interpretation and translation, so I can provide some instruction in those areas as well.

My goal is not only to teach Spanish, but to also create curiosity and enthusiasm for the language, culture & history of such a large & diverse population,

I went into this knowing nearly nothing about the Spanish language. This would not be brief if I listed everything I now know about the language (I still
have much to learn). I give Profesora F. excellent on all aspects of
teaching, plus the she made learning a lot fun. She is a great teacher.

Profesora F. is a very caring and considerate teacher. I was going through a rough time when she was teaching me, and she was patient and willing to work with me to help me succeed. She always encouraged me and made me determined to do well. She is a wonderful teacher and person.

Spanish with Profesora F. was awesome. I took Spanish back in high school and honestly I could not stand it. But she really made the class fun and inviting.
I probably learned the most from her than from any other professor. She made the class!!!

I have a strong passion for teaching langauges like English and Spanish. I had the chance to live in different countries and I think that learning a language includes to learn the customs and the culture of the place you are visiting.

I am a Spanish native speaker. I was born and educated in Sout America. After that, I came to the United States to study a post-graduate program. Because of my background, I would be perfect to teach Spanish for business.

About Eric
My name is Eric and I am originally from Lima, Peru.

I have a strong background in teaching, accounting and legal services. I currently have my own business in Colombia and California. I love teachi
ng since I was a young college student when I used to provide tutoring classes for student juniors.

I have tutored roughly 50 students in my tutoring career. I specialize in language, writing, Spanish for beginners, reading comprehension, vocabulary, writing research papers, science, mathematics from grades k-12, as well as college geometry and algebra, and many more subjects.
I cannot emphasize enough to be patient with yourself when understanding a new concept. It's okay to not get everything the first or second time around. Take your time and enjoy the process of learning. You are actually exercising your brain when you are challenged, which is wonderful! I also want the people I work with to know that I am VERY LGBTQ friendly, and support minorities as well as understand some of the challenges they may face. Anytime you are in my presence, you are in a safe place, and you will always be treated with dignity and respect.
Being a fluent Spanish speaker, I make Spanish a colorful, engaging, fun experience and pay a lot of attention to the student's needs, questions, ...

About Staci
Hey everyone. My name is Staci and I love meeting different students of different backgrounds and personalities. I have an Associates in Information Technology and am now pursing my bachelor's in the
field, with a focus on programming. I am from Chicago so have almost seen it all. I excel in the field of communications and writing, and am also a freelance writer with several blogs of my own, and write for other blogs. I love writing research papers on various topics, especially on topics I am passionate about. I do creative writing and really have a good eye for art and film. In my spare time, I like to go to the gym, spend time with my fiance, canvas paint, and yes I even like to knit. Don't laugh at me. Music plays a major role in my life and know just about every R&B, soul, or hip-hop song that was released between the 80s-2000s.

I am the eldest of my siblings, and have a passion for teaching as much as I have a passion for learning. I have been tutoring since I was 8 years old, but did not monetize my tutoring skills until I was about 16 years old. Today, I am 25 and never get bored of finding different methods of teaching for individual students to help them achieve their academic or personal goals. I have tutored roughly 50 students in my tutoring career, more or less. I specialize in language, writing, Spanish for beginners, reading comprehension, vocabulary, writing research papers, science, mathematics from grades k-12, as well as college geometry and algebra, and many more subjects.

I cannot put enough emphasis on being patient with yourself when understanding a new concept. It's okay to not get everything the first or second time around. Aside from being passionate about science for a few personal reasons, I actually aim to pursue medical school because of my passion for health and medicine. In case, for some reason I won't be able to do so, I have my bachelor's in an applied science to fall back on. Ultimately I would like to become an M.D working in the field of Preventative Medicine or become a surgeon I have written extensive research
