also has a wealth of color... Her stage presence...is magnetic" (Peninsula Reviews), "Her mezzo tones...evoked memories of Maria Callas' spell-binding rendition" (San Jose Mercury News),
Olga was announced the Best Leading Female Singer in North East in season 2006-2007 by Opera Online.

Olga transformed my technique completely! She's got a lot of experience and knows exactly how to help me find the right technique using various ways to explain, such as the physical and physiological side, as well as more imaginative and creative explanations that I could easily relate to. I enjoyed the lessons very much because I felt I was achieving something new every lesson. Will definitely take more lessons with Olga in the future!

*****Before you sign up*****

There are three simple things you need to know about my tutoring program.
1. No matter what your reasons for learning a foreign language are, ultimately it's a part of your SELF DEVELOPMENT. Treat it as such.
2. I don't believe in "good or bad with languages" stereotype. I have taught for many years and learnt that everyone is "language talented" when they actually want to speak a new language. And if you are one of them I garantie that my method will work for you.
3. My program might appear quite different from the ones you have tried or seen before and goes beyond simple grammar and vocabulary presentation. Also prepare to be challenged at every step of the way and the further you will get the more fun and exciting it will be.

*****My Students*****

For over 6 years of professional experien
ce as Russian/French/ESL teacher, I have worked with all types of students with different learning styles and various goals: taught within U.S. public education institutions, provided private classes for children and adults, developed and implemented individualized syllabus for diplomats, high rank executives at multinational companies, employees of U.S. Embassy and Department of State.

Thanks to all my students, current and former, I am now confident that every individual, willing to learn one of the languages I teach, without a doubt, has everything it takes to succeed when the right approach is applied during the learning process and that is when your classes are comprehensible, interesting and engaging.

*****Program features*****

It is one on one program, thouroughtly personalized and organized according to your interests (general and professional), schedule, final goals, learning style and many other important elements to be taken into account.

Each session is 50 minutes.

Every session is prepared to reach a particular goal and structured in the way to have a maximum profit from "teacher - student" part of learning. Supporting materials are sent after each session: grammar notes, retention exercises, homework assignments, audio and video files as phonetic exercises and listening practice. The content of these materials is permanently tested and modified in order to achieve the best way to engage each individual student's language acquisition mechanisms.

Teacher's support 24/7.

Extra curricula content: idiomatic language components, cultural studies (traditions, history, literature, cinema and language related etymology), recommendations for independent language practice.

The way I see it, with each new student - there is a new process in my head that starts and constantly creates and improves techniques, ideas, method components, teaching style e.t.c for getting this particular student to do the best he or she can.

I enjoyed my lesson and look forward to the next ones. Roman located were I was at in my Russian language by asking question. Then used that knowledge as the bases and went from there. Roman used shared video so I could see what notes he was typing then emailed those notes to me in addition to other resources. His explanations were simple, cut and dry. Challenging but not overwhelming!

I've been teaching Russian for 5 years. Within the first lessons, you'll know alphabet and how to greet people in Russian.
From lesson to lesson you'll increase vocabulary and after a few lessons your knowledge will be enough to read short stories. I use online workbooks, textbooks. I have a list of websites. They let students learn grammar, listen to dialogues, watch movies. I love working with students and can't wait to start this journey through Russian grammar and literature with you.

About Galina
My name is Galina. I am a native speaker of Russian language and a professional teacher. I have 20 years experience of teaching in Russian Schools. First 10 years of my experience was teaching in Elementary School, and next 10 years I was an English and Russian teacher. I hold a bachelor's degree in linguistics and childhood education. I was teaching English as a foreign language to Russian students and have excellent tutoring experience in teaching Russian to English speaking people. I can teach all levels of the Russian language and I am really excited to teach students of any age. I have been a teacher all my life and I simply love teaching, because during the process I can see how my students move forward. Tutoring gives me the opportunity to continue doing what I always loved to do. I am a dedicated tutor-strict, but kind. I teach a

I have always had a passion for teaching languages, whether it was Russian, Ukrainian or English. Russian is my native language and I enjoy teaching it the most. Ever since I was in the middle school, I would come over and help my classmates in their struggle with complicated Russian Grammar rules, and later on I started giving private lessons to students of smaller age than me. Even though I majored in Economics in college (which I loved), linguistics would always remain my first passion. I continued with passing on my knowledge to other people, mostly foreign students in my native city Donetsk.

After I moved to the United States in 2015 I decided to pursue my Master’s degree in accounting, alongside teaching Russian to people around me. I take pride in some of my students who have achieved remarkable results for a short time.

About Diana
WHY spending money to buy programs on the computers, heavy workbooks or learning language alone? You could commute back and forth to a group class, taught by professor who doesn’t even know your name. OR you could find a real-life professional native speaker just minutes from you? One who comes straight to your home (or we can meet elsewhere) at the time that best suits your schedule? I’m here to help! Let’s make Russian Language learning fun!

I believe that each student is different, so I always do my best to adapt my lessons to your needs and your learning style. However, I don’t think it’s possible to teach “only grammar” or “only conversation”. I offer my students a lot of conversation practice, but also grammar, vocabulary, listening and reading exercises. I also enjoy sharing a whole lot of Russian traditions and specialties of th
e culture. Nelson Mandela put it best, but I feel EXCACTLY the same about the language learning process:

“If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.”

I have been teaching Russian for more than fifteen years at all levels from middle school to graduate students and native speakers. I incorporate a variety of materials from
contemporary Russian culture (or other areas of content based on student interest) in order to create a relevant and authentic language learning experience.

About Rachel
I have a PhD in Russian and a BA in Spanish. I have taught both languages at many levels, from middle school through to graduate school. As a college student I lived and worked in Moscow, Russia as a security guard at the US Embassy, where I learned lots of unusual vocabulary in Russian related to items that could be picked up by the metal detector. I have also spent time studying and conducting research in Siberia and in St. Petersburg, Russia. I have lived, studied and traveled throughout Mexico, and taught public school Spanish and French for two years prior to graduate school. I am originally from Virginia, and before I started studying Russian in high school, I was planning to be a professional classical pianist. I live in Central Virginia now with my husband and our adorable but very demanding English bulldog, Lou. I am a member and
the Conference Manager for the American Association of Teachers of Slavic and East European Languages, and have taught Russian at the University of Richmond, the University of Virginia, Northern Virginia Community College, and Ferrum College. I regularly publish and present research at conferences in the field of Russian language teaching as well. I am a kind and merciful teacher, but require commitment and dedication from my students. You WILL learn from me, but you have to work too!
