Sometimes we are too overwhelmed with the things we have to do on daily basis. 
It's always great to have some sort of planning: to write things down on the the planner and go smoothly through the day with less rush.

     There's one Russian proverb that state: "человек предполагает, а Бог разполагает", which is literally translated as "man proposes, but God disposes" is about having plans which might go the wrong way. However, it is always great to have trust towards life and know one thing which is another saying in Russian: "Всё, что ни делается, всё к лучшему" with the literal translation "everything that happens is for the better".

I am a native Russian speaker living in the US and who has been learning foreign languages for years and would never stop doing so and who is also willing to help others to learn languages. 

I graduated from the Kazakh University of World Languages and International Relations in the beautiful Almaty, Kazakhstan. My major was translation studies, but I would say I am more a teacher than I am a translator. This is simply a passion to me. I speak Russian, English, Italian, and some Spanish. And my German is totally forgotten somewhere:-) as you might know this simple truth about languages "use it or lose it". :-) 

We are all different and we learn foreign languages our own way. Some would prefer listening, others reading, the thirds being actively involved in the speaking activities. And there's no wrong way as long as we practice the language we like. We could do this journey on our own or with the help of a teacher. 

If you need the teacher's help with Russian or even with Italian, I would be happy to help you. 

We could read together with the books you want to read, study the grammar, listen to the songs, we could watch the movies together, we could try writing, we would use a great variety of things to keep our lessons interesting and useful. There're no boundaries. I'll follow my students individually and create unique customized lessons for them.

Learning a language is not that difficult as it might seem. You just need to have some reason why you need this language, have some motivation for that, and make it your daily routine which brings you some joy and peace. 
You can do this journey alone. It might take you more time, but you will get there where you want to be for sure if you continue and remember your "why". 
If you choose to make it together with a teacher, the journey might grow into something more creative and fast in terms of your goals. 
In my lessons, a student is the one who sets the rhythm as each person has her/his own aptitudes, preferences, and needs and I, as a teacher, have to follow the student tutoring in a very individual way which usually comes up in the first few lessons. 
Honestly, I can't promise miracles. But at the same time, integrating my experience and expertise in learning foreign languages, together with the student we will make our lessons efficient, interesting, friendly, and useful.

Useful Phrases for Expressing Opinions in Russian

For those who love to learn Russian with poetry.
Today we would read together the poem of Nataliya Zadorozhaya "А ты меня сегодня любишь?" which is literally translated as "Do you love me today?".

Reading Russian Poetry

На "ты" или на "Вы"? In Russian, there are two forms of addressing a person: "ты" and "Вы". It is a mistake to assume that the form "Вы" is considered more formal, and "ты" - more informal. Both forms of address are polite, if you use them correctly. 

"ты" we address:
family members 
children, including the children we don't know
 friends 
good friends - to those with whom we agreed to "перейти на ты"

 We refer to "Вы" to: 
strangers
people we just met for the first time
people who are much older than us 
 teachers 
colleagues 

 In all cases there are exceptions. By default, while we do not know the person, it will be polite to refer to him/her as "Вы". If you feel like you can close the distance because you like each other, want to keep in touch, you're the same age, or just prefer to keep it simple, you can suggest "перейти на ты" with a simple phrase, "Может, на ты?" or “Давай на ты (перейдём)” or “Не против,  если мы будем на "ты?”
Most likely, you will not be refused. But if this happens, do not rush to draw conclusions (that they don’t want to communicate with you, or you don’t like you). Perhaps the person is brought up differently or it is more comfortable for him to keep his distance.

  Most often, young people when meeting each other call each other "Вы", but not necessarily. It always depends on a person you are speaking to.
