Russian is my native language, and I can help you with anything from learning the alphabet, to grammar, pronunciation and more advanced skills. In order to make the learning process as informative and interesting as possible, primarily for students, a modern teacher must use additional materials at the lesson. Of course, my materials contain a sufficient amount of learning aids that contribute to a more productive and meaningful assimilation of the new theoretical material. From my experience I can promise you - in a few lessons you will be able to maintain the simplest dialogue and read short stories.

Hello!
Hola!
Привет!
My name is Katya. I've been teaching Spanish, English and Russian (as a Foreign Language) to adults and children for many years. I am a native Russian speaker, a classical pianist, singer and professional educator. I received my degree in piano performance and pedagogy in 1992, and have been teaching since then. I have lived (and taught) all over the world, and I love what I do.
I speak and write fluently in English and Spanish, but as a native Russian speaker, I had to learn English, Spanish (Portuguese, French, Italian and Mandarin) languages from the ground up, just like my students, so I understand very well the challenges of learning a language. I have structured a specific approach that incorporates tricks and shortcuts. Little things you can do to bring the language into your everyday life... these little things that accumulate and make the whole experience of learning a language much easier and more natural. I consider myself a language ...

The technique Maria teaches emphasizes using the weight of the body to produce sound while keeping the hands and arms relaxed and fluid, which not only produces a most beautiful and expressive tone, but protects the body from injury. Although similar to the Lhevinne technique, Maria’s technique takes it to higher level. Many piano teachers do not teach a technique but, in my opinion, solid technique is critical for an advanced student and best learned from the beginning.
Maria is patient and detail oriented and teaches all aspects piano with mastery. I highly recommend her.
