About Christopher
Hello! Hola! Benvenuto! My name is Christopher S. and I am a classical guitarist, composer, polyglot, and experienced language and music teacher.

I am a recent graduate with a Masters of Music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, MA. There I studied with the world-renowned guitarist Eliot Fisk who is a direct student of the legendary guitarist Andres Segovia.

Currently I work part time teaching 12 students guitar at the University of South Carolina, in Columbia. I also I teach ukulele, Spanish, Italian, and English to a variety of students online. At the same time I am pursuing a Doctoral degree from the university to strengthen my skills as a guitarist and expand my knowledge as a teacher for higher education. I have also just completed my debut album titled, "Anima - The Music of Spain and Italy for the Gu
itar."

This album is a tribute and memorial to an amazing journey I had traveling and living in Europe for 3 years.

After I graduated from my undergraduate degree, I realized that in order to better my skills as a musician and become the guitar teacher I wanted to be I had to travel abroad. I moved to Seville, Spain where for three years I studied the art of classical and flamenco guitar.

I studied with a international known Spanish guitarist named Francisco Bernier at the Conservatory in Seville. During this time I was also teaching English as a second language to high school and middle school students. From traveling and spending so much time in Europe, I also developed and studied my love of languages and I became fluent in Spanish and Italian.

The experienced was an experience of a lifetime and I made many friends working and living abroad that to this day, I still keep in contact with.

If you are interested in having lessons with me, please contact me and we can begin learning the art of making beautiful music or learning the beautiful languages of the Mediterranean! "Hasta pronto!" "A presto!" and "Speak to you soon!"

About David
My name is David and I'm a professional musician who just moved to North Austin. I came from Cincinnati, where I went to the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music, taught dozens of students at all levels and played regular gigs every weekend. I have been teaching for over fifteen years, and I'm looking to get a few new students.
I teach guitar, piano, bass guitar and even upright bass. If it's a tutor you are looking for I can also teach music theory and appreciation. I have a knack for teaching young people, probably because I was young when I started my musical journey. I've been very successful at inspiring a student's love of music and instilling the patience required to take on the challenge of playing an instrument.
The first thing I like to do is get to know you, the music you enjoy and your goals. In a way, I l
ike to begin by letting the student lead.
In addition to learning from you, I intend to present you with new information, to try and broaden your musical tastes and teach you how to be an active listener.

Hello! My name is Naoko, a native Japanese.
I moved to New York state in 2010 and have been teaching Japanese as a private tutor.
I really enjoy my work and the interaction with people from all over the world.
Japan has so many interesting little cultural quirks that foreign visitors tend to bombard their hosts with questions, like 'Why do you have to take your slippers off before entering a tatami room?' ' Why can't the Japanese say 'no' directly?' 'Why do people fill glass each other?'
The reason I became a Japanese teacher is to answer the all 'why' questions, to teach correct Japanese language and to spread real Japanese culture.
I am a friendly and enthusiastic teacher (a bit strict for correction though ) and teach local students everyday.
There are some Japanese children who try to catch up with Japanese school curriculum,
there are some college students taking Japanese class at school, and there are business person who work with Japanese.
Now I am studying for the license of Japanese Traditional Culture and a Leader to acquire the qualification.
I make lesson plans for each student according to their needs, such as business conversation, practice for job interview, travel preparation, Keigo, JLPT exercise and intensive Japanese etc.
My lesson is full of originality according to your needs.
If you
・Need help with assignments or making resume or job interview
・Are having trouble with grammar or unknown idiomatic expression
・Have unknown Japanese expressions and proverbs
・Would like help improving your pronunciation
・Want to practice speaking Japanese fluently
・Want me to correct your Japanese strictly
I'll see your Japanese level and create the original lesson materials for the next lesson. I keep all lesson record to see your progress.
Specially I focus on speaking skill with correct pronounce but surely adopt in every fields of grammar, listening, reading and making composition as well.

I am so happy that I am able to continue my Japanese language study with Naoko. She is always happy and helpful, answering all of my questions and giving me the right amount of push to continue learning, and the right amount of support so I don't get frustrated. I recommend her to anyone looking for a native Japanese speaker who wants to take their learning to the next level.

Naoko-san has been a great teacher. In my experience, she is very devoted to helping her students. She is very helpful with answering questions about Japanese language and culture. She covers grammar, penmanship, pronunciation, conversation, culture, and more and truly seems to enjoy teaching. She is always happy to help me with anything I need instruction with regarding Japanese. Her lessons do a good job of introducing grammar and vocabulary, and she is very patient and helpful when her students have trouble with pronunciation or grammar. I am very thankful to have found a teacher as great as Naoko-san. ありがとうございます、先生!

Natahlie was a great instructor I have taken classes before at Berlitz for work and had a much harder time getting started. Working with a instructor one on one made me feel more comfortable than a class room setting. In the past I have had instructors more concerned with covering material than making sure everyone is on the same page. Natahlie was very patient we me and made sure I understood the different nuances of the language before moving ahead with the lesson.

About Daria
What makes me a better option in comparison to native speakers? I'm specializing in teaching French as a foreign language. I also learned French (English) as a foreign language, so I know and understand all the difficulties you may meet during your studying process. Due to my understanding of all that, I can adopt better the methods of our work and my explanation.
What I love the most about my work? It's seeing my students' success and progress. For that aim, I'm always attentive to my students' needs and abilities to learn a subject. I try to find the best way to their understanding according to individual characteristics.

Since my childhood, I knew that languages are my passion. That's why I graduated from the pedagogical university back in Ukraine (my native country) at the faculty of foreign languages and also studied at the un
iversity in Switzerland. I went abroad to improve my French and English as well as to learn psychology and sociology. I had an opportunity to live in a French-speaking country, to have everyday language practice, and to learn how to live on your own.
