First lesson with Mr Park was really good. I have never used an online tutor before so I didn’t know what to expect. He did very well in assessing my current level and pushing thru material. Even limited self study he still covered things that I didn’t know that was pertinent to the language and I appreciate the way he explains things. The language is not a 1-1 and Mr Park did well in explaining how it converts over.

Jesse has given directions on how to successfully become a better musician. His approach and explanation on musical theories was much more understandable than what I was previously reading. Overall, I found the lessons to be very usefull.

My Japanese lessons are unique in that I can adapt to multiple learning styles. I can empathize with English learners that have been struggling with Japanese grammar and sentence-forming issues that plague so many by explaining it in innovative ways. I am also very up to date with Japanese pop culture, history, and other fun aspects, such as travel, food, and music, so I often enjoy incorporating those fun topics into my lessons wherever possible!

"When I was looking for a Japanese tutor, I wanted somebody who could help guide my studies and help me understand the subtle nuances that can't be gleaned from the dry instruction of a textbook. Clare really fit the bill, as she has deep knowledge of both Japanese and linguistics in general. We've been meeting for almost a year now, and my Japanese has improved tremendously (and at a great pace). She puts a lot of effort into the curriculum, and employs a variety of different teaching methods/exercises. I look forward to our every class."
