B.A.Degree from Marygrove College
I have been teaching Sign Language for the Deaf for over twenty years.
I have taught it in the classroom because I have had two students who were Deaf, and I had to find a way to communicate with them so I took classes in Sign Language for the Deaf so I could communicate with Pam and Charles, and my students could communicate with them as well.
I start out by teaching my students the ABC'S, Numbers one to ten, simple phrases such as please, thank you, your welcome, the colors of the rainbow and simple questions and answers. I also teach words to songs that students can sing in church.
I have been the only Customer Service Representative at Fairlane Town Center that could Sign to the Deaf customers, and I have also Signed for my church.
I ask that if a student wants to learn Sign Language for the Deaf that they bring someone with them that they can practice with throughout the week.
I am a patient, enthusiastic teacher in the following areas: piano, violin, cello, drums, music history, and music theory. I have taught vocal and instrumental music in both Catholic and Public schools, and in after-school programs, for 20 years, and have been giving private lessons for 9 years. I
Loquacious, but each moment of verbal conversation has a message that leads to the musical lessons of the day. I really appreciate her knowledge and skill. I am often reminiscent of my violin instructor as a child. Each session leaves me with the zeal to practice hard in eager preparation
for the next.
I have found that the attending student group to be extremely supportive to all other students especially to those experiencing performance anxiety. Repeating attendees (from all over the country) have formed lasting friendships among themselves which have endured for years. Eight week long sessions are given throughout the year. In addition there are summer sessions for school aged youth
and also 4 short week sessions for those wishing to try a sampling of the camp. This past January was my 3rd year attending the camp and I will be returning again next year. My experiences at the camp have been truly unforgettable. More information can be obtained at Sonatina.com

I have taught ESL to some Romanian people from the time they came to the US. They knew no English and now one of the women has went on to pass her medical test and is a nurse. I enjoy the English language and learning to understand it more.
I enjoy teaching and helping my students achieve their goals. I have taught for several years and like to make it an environment where students like to learn. I have a bachelors in science and graduated in 2006. Violin has been the main course of my teaching. However I have also taught piano and ES

Bachelor Degree in Music Education from The College of Saint Rose
I teach because it allows me to share my love of learning. I'm most satisfied when I can awaken a new interest in a “boring” subject or show a student a new way of looking at a problem. I get excited when students tell me that they see connections that weren't there before or that they finally understand something that has always baffled them. I try to bring passion to everything I teach, and I work hard to push my students to their highest potential.
I have been teaching private lessons since 2008, but have been studying music since I was only 4 with non stop private and in school lessons. I now have my Bachelor's degree in Music education and am working toward my Masters in Music performance and Instruction. I love working with my students

Karaoke is a fun activity in any language, but believe it or not, singing karaoke is also a great way to improve your Japanese-language skills. Karaoke, as we know it, actually started in Kobe City, Japan. The word 'karaoke' is a combination of the words kara (from karappo, which means 'empty') and oke (from okesutura, which means 'orchestra'). You may not have realized that you can learn Japanese through music, but karaoke is one of the best ways to practice vocabulary and …
