Littleton Language Lessons for Teens

My name is Maggie. I recently earned my Master's degree in string performance at Boston University. I have won many prizes as a soloist. As an orchestra musician, I have been playing for 10 years. I have been working as a music teacher for 9 years. I have taught violin, viola and beginner piano lessons. I love developing students love for music. I greatly enjoy teaching music students and sharing my love for music with them.
Because of my experiences and education, I am able to assess easily what each student needs and how to help them achieve their goals.

I have spoken Portuguese for about 3 years now. With two of those years living in a Portuguese speaking country (Cape Verde). I still keep frequent on my skills and speak as often as I can.

I love teaching and seeing people progress is one of my favorite things to experience. I have taught people looking to learn Portuguese before serving a mission, but I am willing to teach for any reason!

While by no means am I a professional or "native" speaker, I am extremely fluent and can get you starting to learn Portuguese at a much lower rate than other teachers. If after a while you want to move to a more advanced teacher, go ahead! Consider me the 'community college' of Portuguese lessons.

A nice experience with a real Spanish speaker.

I know learning a new language is difficult and bored, so we will talklearn Chinese through interesting topics. The character of Chinese people, communication, psychology, etc will are good topics for us.

German started in my extended family and has gradually become a central part of my life. First I studied German for five years in grammar school. Then I traveled to Germany multiple times, and hosted Couschsurfers from Germany and Austria. My nephews are being raised bilingual in English and German, and I have both native and second language German speakers in my nuclear and extended family. Having this broad perspective on how German fits in the landscape of international communication, I can adapt a students' education to fit their needs whether it be in mastering school skills or learning German for travel, work or to build relationships.

Hello! I am a native Russian speaker, Russian language tutor, professional translator, and author of several literary works in Russian, as well as a music teacher. I am from St. Petersburg, Russia.
