Hi Students,
I am happy that you are interested in learning our ancient and beautiful language. I am a native Hungarian, living in the Chicago area, fluent in both, Hungarian and English. I am an instructot at a Hungarian School for children. with more than 6 years of experience. I have been teaching children from 2-12 years for language, folk songs, and culture.
I am also a Hungarian lawyer, so I can prepare adults in a very high level, even for business, or legal purposes. I would teach you quickly and efficiently, by giving you many interesting information from Hungary and its customs and traditions. I am ready to teach online, too.

About Adrienn

Hi Students, I like teaching and sharing my experience and knowledge with others. I have more experience in teaching children, but also are open to help adults. I am a mother, and have two degrees. I am patient and polite, but determined to help you learn quickly and efficiently. Good luck!

About Keith

Hi, my name is Keith and I have been involved in music from an early age. I love playing and teaching piano. I started taking lessons at the age of 9, and soon added trumpet and French Horn to my list of instrumental music lessons. I continued, through High School and College, taking music classes

Keith was a good teacher to our son, he was patient and kind. Our son learned a lot from him, we hope in the future to use him again, if the opportunity arises. Thanks Keith!

Keith is an amazing teacher. My 7 year old son likes him very much. Before the lessons I worried our boy couldn’t build his interest in playing piano, just lose his enthusiasm after a while as the 7 years old always did. But Keith make me totally worry free, my son likes him very much, and he really knows how to build the kid’s interests and confidence while learning. Now my son enjoyed himself very much with Keith in their piano time. We are so lucky to find Keith.

We had four in-home lessons with Keith and he never once arrived on time. And not like 5 minutes late because of bad traffic or something. Once he was 40 minutes late, and another time he was 45 minutes late. For an hour lesson. At first I though there was some confusion because the time on take lessons was slightly different than the time we agreed to (he asked if we could start earlier than the time slot that was listed, and I agreed) but after speaking with him about it, we were both on the same page as to what time the lesson *should* begin, he just never arrived on time. He seems to be very overbooked and busy and does not respect his clients’ time. He told me that the disparity of arriving on time or a half hour late is “superfluous,” so if you hire him, be prepared to have a wide window of when he could show up. My kids liked him as a teacher, which is why I kept giving him chances and trying to work out scheduling issues (I offered to move our lessons to a different time, but he insisted the time we were at was fine) but in the end, things could not be resolved.

I feel that learning in general and learning a foreign language in particular is about repetition and I ask my students to repeat everything I teach over and over again until they know it by heart. I keep my lessons simple to avoid overwhelming the students and to allow time for them to repeat what they learned earlier. I teach the words that form part of the so called core vocabulary; words that are chosen according to frequency and range (in the sense that they “occur across a wide variety of texts”) It is often said that the first 2000 most frequent words cover approximately 90% of the vocabulary used by native-speakers in daily conversations. This means that for a student they represent the basic resource to be able to communicate.

About Stefania

I am Italian. I moved to Canada first and the US next in my thirties. I love teaching. I own a retail training and consulting company. I have taught Italian on and off over the years and have always loved doing it. I am very passionate about the topics I teach and have a clear understanding of the

"Mr. Psoras gave 4 lessons to my 8.5 yeal old daughter, Katherine. He evaluated her first for free, which was a clear indication that he works to achieve better results rather than to make more money. Mr. Psoras was always on time, responsive, friendly, enthusiastic. Greek is his native language, and he knows how to teach. He is full of resources too, so you won't get bored. We had to stop lessons on line because of an opportunity to continue lessons in person."

"A year ago, I didn't know a single word of Vietnamese. Today, I'm sitting in a Hanoi cafe having taken a taxi, having had a conversation about the traffic, our families, and the weather, and having shopped for an hour for gifts for friends and family back in the US - all using Vietnamese I am constantly being complimented on.

Learning Vietnamese was the hardest thing I've ever done, but I had a patient and experienced instructor in Thầy Châu. His methodical curriculum and homework assignments complemented by oral communication rounded me out perfectly. He held me accountable for my shortcomings and built me up when I made mistakes. I wouldn't be where I am today without him and while he wasn't my first instructor, but was by far my best. If I could give him 6 stars, I would."
