Teaching has always been my passion. I have been teaching Italian for some time. Some of my main points are:
 Plan, prepare and deliver Italian lessons to several level from beginning to more advanced students.
 Teach students to speak, comprehend, read and write in Italian language. Provide instruction in the culture and the literature of the Italian language.
 Adapt the lessons to the needs of the student and write reports to track their progress.

As both a certified teacher and private tutor, I offer highly individualized, fun and engaging lessons to meet your personal goals, interests and learning styles. I use a variety of materials, including conversational dialogues, practical role-plays, music, videos, cartoons, and more. I hold a B.A., M.A. and Doctorate in Modern Languages and specialize in language instruction. We always infuse culture into each language lesson, and you will see I cater to your specific interests or future travel plans. I have been told my passion for Italian language and culture is contagious. 'Dr. Cliff,' a part-time college/university professor, teacher and tutor with 5 master's and 3 doctoral degrees in a variety of topics: Mathematics, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, MBA, Leadership, Education and Administration. He has always used proven educational techniques to instruct undergraduate students, graduate students and school children/teenagers (K-12). In addition, Dr. Cliff is a Certified Tutor by American Tutoring Association and National Tutoring Association (Math); he holds California Teaching Credentials in Math (CSET I,II,III), Business (I,II,III), and Educational Technology/Computers (I,II); he is a Sylvan Certified Teacher in Math and Arts/Language K-12.

I've been teaching Italian since 2003 and my students have gone on to develop a deep love of its culture, travel abroad, and make new friends. Within the first few lessons, you'll understand why Italian is one of the most beautiful languages of the world, and as time goes on you’ll love it forever.
