Hola, cómo estás? I am a certified native teacher. I was born in Madrid, Spain (Europe), and I live in California since 2014. I love teaching, and have all my life. I know how to teach you Spanish in the best way, with funny and effective classes, with patience, and with speaking slowly and clearly. You will learn the best proper pronunciation, our customs and our expressions. You will be able to speak with expressions, accent, emphasys and more different options of the language that only can be taught by natives teachers.
We will learn by enjoying and practicing, through one to one conversation, exercises, repetitions and homework.
Should be great as well to do lessons with 2 students . It is cheaper and works really really good.
Nos vemos ! :)

I grew up at the Northern tip of the Black Forest in Southwestern Germany and have spent most of my childhood vacations at my grandparents' in the Eifel region, close to the border with Luxemburg. Therefore, I got to grow up with standard German and two quite distinct dialects of German.
Once I started teaching German to refugees and did an internship in a university German class I started to become aware of the intricacies of German grammar and vocabulary and saw it with new eyes. Frankly, I may not be able to explain ALL grammatical phenomena, but it will be my pleasure to explore and expand my knowledge of German with you.
We can discuss what life in the German-speaking world is like, explore German literature and music, and along the way have a look at the grammar, vocabulary and prosody you may need to talk about those things.
Los geht's! :)

I have taught ESL for 20 years to individuals and groups. I have been teaching both adults and children in private and business/corporate environments.
I like to focus on conversation and pronunciation while learning grammar and the basic rules of the language. This allows students to improve their speaking and listening skills and be able to apply immediately what they learn.
Learning while having fun is my mission!

She is a very good teacher for many reasons but first of all she has a characteristic that all teachers should have, empathy.
She doesn’t use the classic teaching method of the school, I find her method more effective because it’s easy and logical so more understandable for all the people.
I improved a lot with her even just doing one hour a week of lessons and I gained more confidence especially in speaking.

When you're studying a foreign language, it's helpful to also learn about culture, history, and traditions. Here, Japanese teacher Taro T. introduces the Japanese concept omotenashi... As someone who learned English as a second language, I truly believe in the importance of finding something positive from a new culture, and adopting it in your own life. Although English idioms don't make sense at first, these unique expressions (together with proverbs) add substance and humor to our conversations. The Oxford Dictionary defines the word "idiom" as a: "group of words established by usage as having a meaning not deducible from those of the individual words (e.g. over the moon, see the light)." This means that English idioms should not be taken literally, because their meaning is metaphorical. You don't really wish someone would “break a …
