Brian is great for kids and adults!

My 10-year-old showed interest in learning piano, and Brian is great! My 8-year-old thought it looked fun, so we added him, and Brian does a great job with him. In fact, my 40-something husband was so impressed, he signed up, too! Brian is terrific with all of them. Everyone is learning at his own speed and each is improving. Brian adeptly teaches according to skill, interest, aptitude, and attitude. I'm so impressed! I heartily recommend for anyone looking for a music teacher.

I am an pianist, improviser, composer, and music theory geek. I love jazz, classical, and rock music. Whatever style of music you want to learn, I will show you how to move toward your goals.

I love working with adults and kids alike! I can teach basic piano skills and classical technique, and for more advanced students I can teach jazz, improvisation, and composition. For every student, my goal is to make lessons fun by teaching you the music you want to play.

I have been playing the piano since preschool and have a B.A. in Music from the University of Minnesota.

Playing piano is one of my favorite things to do so I'd have quite a fun time teaching you. What I teach on piano will help you understand a diverse range of instruments and even genres, and, I think, teach lessons that carry over into life.

About Paul

I have played piano my whole life, and I also play guitar and trumpet. I love jazz, classical, contemporary, and rock music and many other diverse styles. I am an improviser, composer, and music theory enthusiast, very in touch with the creative side of music. I’m easygoing and patient. I put

Hello and welcome! My students of arrangement and composition are learning to score, how to create their own personalized sound libraries, music notation, how to work with synthesizers, the business of being a successful composer, and much more. Often the most challenging part of becoming a composer/arranger is developing your own work-flow that can bring out ideas in a fast and efficient way. Once these ideas are recorded, whether through traditional notation methods or using a DAW or audio recording device, the job of the composer is to develop these ideas in a unique and captivating way. My motto is that being a great composer is not necessarily having the best ideas, but rather that the development of those ideas is where the art of composition occurs.

About Zachary

As a professional composer, producer, sound designer, and trombonist based out of Atlanta, GA I love to teach. I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Trombone Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music in Cleveland, Ohio and have taught for the past 10 years. Currently, I am wor

I highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn French!"

"I have had three Vietnamese teachers in the past year and Chau is definitely the most professional and organized. He has 30 years of experience as a Vietnamese/French/English teacher in Saigon and has taught Vietnamese to numerous US government employees (including myself) since moving to the US. He tailors each lesson to my needs and has his own personal repository of detailed lessons (i.e. topics like relations/actions in the South China Sea, diplomatic issues, government corruption, environmental pollution, etc). He can speak/teach using either a northern or southern accent as well. He also understands the origin of words, can explain variations in the language over time and between regions, and probably has a better understanding of English grammatical structure than I do. He is an excellent teacher that pushes me to improve every lesson."
