Russian language is the fifth most widely spoken languages in the world. It’s a very beautiful and rich language.
Russian literature counts a huge number of great works (Dostoevsky, Chekhov, Tolstoy, Turgenev). Speaking Russian you will be able to read them in original.
If you want to learn a second language – it should become your new habit, possibly for the rest of your life. Of course, it does not mean that you’ll only be able to speak Russian after a few years, no. Most probably, after a few dedicated months you’ll be able to hold a simple conversation and understand a lot of what you hear.
I am a native Russian speaker. I am musician . I'll be happy to learn Russian with you.
I am a very experienced harpist, holding over 20 years of experience. I have performed in over 4,000 concerts and have had the privilege of performing as the Principal Harpist at St. Petersburg Opera Theatre and Mariinsky Theatre in Russia. I also hold a Master’s degree in Harp from the St. Petersb

I started teaching in Farsi (Persian) in 2013, when I taught a mini-course offered at Dartmouth College for beginner learners. From then on, I have continued to teach Farsi in private and semi-private settings.
Since written Farsi and spoken Farsi slightly differ, my approach to teaching is to first attack spoken Farsi, using transliterations, before moving on to written Farsi. I find this method, being closer to natural process of language acquisition, to give students more motivation and confidence, as it is more dynamic, moving quicker and swifter.
Note I teach only Persian, not Dari.
As a teacher, I try to cater each class to my student's individual needs and interests. Being bilingual myself, I am a strong believer that language and culture (and food!) are intertwined, and to learn any language, it is best to immerse oneself as deeply as possible. I started teaching ESL in

Elsa is a very cheerful young lady, wonderful with Nicholas, and has a real talent for explaining French grammar and the nuances between French and English. I enjoy getting to ask her my questions and benefit from her knowledge on an adult level, just as I enjoy watching her engage with my son on his level. She is clearly very experienced in teaching young children and makes learning lots of fun for them. Anyone looking to learn French themselves and have their child begin French at an early age will really benefit from Elsa's classes."
