About Veronica
Teaching language is a passion, not only a profession. When you teach language you have to engage students in the culture, to spark motivation and broaden horizons, to promote diversity and tolerance.
My bachelors is in Psychology from my country of origin, but coming to this country I began working in language when looking for bilingual opportunities for my own children. Not being able to find the right person I decided to study so I could provide the best learning experience to my own children and that became my new career more than fifteen years now.
I have traveled through Latin America and gained cultural and academic knowledge. I have owned a language program for ten years and trained and supervised hundreds of language teachers and enjoyed thousands of young and old students' language accomplishments.
I have also had the hon
or and the privilege of teaching language to the military for almost eight years, developing curriculum for all levels and all ages.
Every student is a new opportunity to inspire and improve a life. I look forward to that every day.

Mrs. Hernandez is an amazing instructor. Her one-on-one classes are catered to the specific needs of the student as an individual. I like the use of multimedia because it accommodates to different learning styles. Her charismatic approach makes the student feel confident and encouraged to participate and fully engage in class.

I studied Spanish with Mrs. Hernandez for a year and a half. You won't find a better Spanish instructor anywhere. She uses a wide variety of teaching strategies and media to keep the classes interesting and to get the most out of the time in class.

About Chiharu
Hi, I'm Chiharu. I am originally from Kyoto, Japan, and I speak both Japanese and English. I was an EFL teacher at private high schools in Japan for several years before I came to the US to get a master's degree in TESOL. I had a unique opportunity to start my teaching career in the United States soon after I got the degree, and I have been a teacher in the US since then.

My teaching experiences are mostly in a classroom setting at colleges, language schools and high schools, but I picked up some tutoring opportunities and started to give private language lessons as I was a classroom teacher. I currently teach at a local college a few days a week and tutor several students, and I enjoy teaching at both venues. As for my tutoring experience, I have tutored high school students who were struggling with their TOEFL scores and overall Eng
lish skills, some graduate students who needed supplemental ESL lessons to perform better in their business class, middle school, high school and college students who wanted to learn Japanese and needed guided assistance for their study, and some adult students who wanted to learn Japanese for their career advancement and who are simply interested in Japanese language and culture and want to learn them. I am confident that I can help you learn Japanese or English as a Second Language at all levels.

My lessons have been popular and well-received among my students. With my unique background of being a former ESL student and with deep linguistics knowledge combined with teaching experiences, I can predict problematic areas in language learning, understand students' struggle and frustration, and support my students as I provide more effective lessons and advice either in Japanese or English lessons.

Teaching languages is my passion, and I love helping and seeing my students improve their language skills! I am confident that I can make a difference in your life through language lessons. Please feel free to contact me to ask for more details about my lessons and schedules and let me help you learn :)

I am almost a seventy year old woman. When I thought of traveling to the Middle East, I spent a year trying to learn basic Arabic-I tried online classes, videos, and books, but I couldn't learn it well and it wouldn't seem to stick. By chance, when I saw Aaron's webpage I thought it looked good and I decided to give it one last try.

Aaron is so skilled at what he does- he teaches in a clever and humorous way that I was so surprised by. His patience increased my confidence and interest in continuing to learn- especially at my age and experience level. After three months of learning, I can finally speak at the level where I feel comfortable traveling. I highly highly recommend that you learn with Aaron.

Thank you so much Aaron!
