In these lessons, we will learn finger-spelling and ASL signs to carry out conversations. Lessons will be conversationally-based, and I will suggest assignments and activities in between lessons that will help you retain information and progress.

I have two decades of experience teaching English literature, writing, creative writing, and test prep to 9-12 grade students. I strive to build a rapport with each student and do my best to understand them as a person. This helps me to be able to reach each student at their own unique level of learning and instruct them in a unique way. I am FAR from a boring teacher. While our focus will always be on the lesson, we will have fun and laugh along the way. I look forward to having the opportunity to give you the skills necessary to become an independent learner who will only need my services for a limited amount of time.
