My name is Jenni and I am a professional Latin and Greek teacher with over ten years of experience teaching and tutoring both Latin and Ancient Greek. I have taught professionally at the elementary, junior high, and graduate levels and I hold a Master’s degree in Classical Philology. I currently work at the Polis Institute, where I teach Greek and Latin as living languages to graduate students.

Jenni has an incredible depth of knowledge of both Latin and Greek, reflecting not only her years of experience with both languages, but also a very concerted effort to think about the best way to teach these languages.

This became very apparent when I approached her to help me in what I felt would be a near impossible task: to learn a semester's worth of Ancient Greek in one month, starting from scratch.

Her clarity of explanation, her command of the material, and her professionalism as a tutor and teacher all made that possible, to the point where when I actually showed up to class, I actually found myself ahead of where everybody else was. I had mastered the material so well thanks to her efforts, that on the first test, I achieved a 104% (even got the extra credit mark), much to the impressed amazement of my new professor.

So when I give her this solid review of her skills, it is not to her as a tutor, or even a teacher. It is to her as a professional. Which is what she is in every sense of the word, as an educator, an admirer, and a bonafide inhabitant of the world of classical languages.

Jenni is simply the best. My son was struggling with Latin last year and I found Jenni online and she was able to catch him up on what he missed in order for him to start the year on a positive note.This year is going well for him . I am happy to report he received his first test grade this year and scored a 35.5/40.

He has now enjoying Latin!

Jenni is absolutely amazing. She’s been providing additional, complimentary instruction once a week for my son who is entering 3rd-year Honors Latin. The Pedagogical Foundations Of EnglishCentral

I am a professional singer in Austin Texas. I play live shows, I have gone on tour and have released an album. I love teaching people what I know. After singing behind closed doors for a portion of my life and secretly dreaming of being a singer, one day, I decided to take the plunge and start living my dream. I have been taking lessons with Hilary for a while, longer than a year. I dont have a natural gift, and got interested in singing later in life, but she has helped me gain confidence and comfort with my voice. She is very bubbly and friendly. For me, it helps to have a teacher that puts me at ease since I am shy. She has helped me with pitch and voices. She is helping me work on vocal runs. I have progressed enough to start writing my own songs. BTW, her singing is amazing and I am happy for the opportunity to work with her!
