Hello! I'd like to help you learn English. I have studied Spanish and Italian and have taught English in Italy and Spain, so I understand the joy and the frustration that comes with learning a new language. It is hard work, but it can be fun! I will patiently help you learn English to reach your desired goal. I like to use music in my classes because I think it's a great tool for learning about a language and culture. I have taught English for about 10 years. Most recently, I began teaching online English to children (and adults) all over the world. I can help your child learn basic English by way of flashcards, immersion, and picture cards. I also use TPR (total physical response) which is similar to the game of charades. Associating new words with actions, along with parroting (having the student repeat each new word three times) let’s begin our journey together. Your young learner will love Miss Lisa and look forward to every class!

I listen to students needs in order to let you guide the lesson topics to where your learning needs and goals will be achieved. I am just a subject matter expert and a facilitator of your learning. I believe strongly in the value of education, self-learning and continuous learning. You will be a better learner if you approach each topic from your interests and from a discovery approach. You may find that learning English while also learning about other topics (business, careers, hobbies, interests, travel, culture, etc.) makes it more valuable.
