Elsa is a very cheerful young lady, wonderful with Nicholas, and has a real talent for explaining French grammar and the nuances between French and English. I enjoy getting to ask her my questions and benefit from her knowledge on an adult level, just as I enjoy watching her engage with my son on his level. She is clearly very experienced in teaching young children and makes learning lots of fun for them. Anyone looking to learn French themselves and have their child begin French at an early age will really benefit from Elsa's classes."
And they're not alone!

I am a trombonist and teacher, with many years of experience teaching Hebrew as well as music.
As a music teacher I have worked with children starting from private lessons to young children beginning to learn, up to master classes in universities worldwide. I love teaching, and I feel confident teaching trombone and trumpet up to advanced level. For piano, I would prefer to stay with beginners and young ones only :) - but I promise you they will have a wonderful experience (and yes, I do have 8 years of piano studies under my belt).
As a Hebrew teacher, I teach both Hebrew reading and pronunciation and modern conversational Hebrew. My professional experience includes teaching at Golda Och Academy in West Orange, B'nai Abraham in Livingston, Central Synagogue in Manhattan and more, as well as many private lessons. In

I specialize in creative writing, academic writing, and college admissions essays. Whether you or your child wants to improve their writing, loves writing but experiences writer's block or an inability to actually DO the writing, or wants to workshop essays for a class, application, or personal project, I am excited to work together with my students and help them achieve their goals.
At Tufts University I studied English with a focus in creative writing. In school I wrote a mix of analytical papers and creative works, culminating in a fiction thesis. In school I taught a successful weekly creative writing class to homeschooled students, helping them improve their writing and create new and engaging stories that they later submitted to contests and magazines around the No

I attended Seton Hall University for Education and Spanish where I was able to travel to Mexico, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Spain, and Costa Rica. After graduation I attended Rutgers for English as a Second Language. I am certified in New Jersey.
In our first lesson I like to see what level students are, ask what their goals are, and begin lessons that target those goals. Personalized lessons are the most effective and motivating. I love to help my students accomplish their goals and enjoy the process!

Is a good teacher the best to teach english thankyou for help me .... i'm so happy with her job :)
I received my BFA in Acting from Boston University's school of theater, but I have been making music since I could walk. As a classically trained singer, violinist and flautist, I've been able to incorporate my musical talents with my career as an actress. I play a range of professional gigs, from churches to rock concerts to pit orchestras. I had the chance to travel around the US, performing in theaters around the country for the Broadway national tour of the tony-award winni
While most of my life has been spent performing, I discovered a love for teaching after college. I have been teaching music and theater for 5 years, and two years ago I began teaching ESL to elementary students in Turkey. I fell in love with teaching English, and feel my training in theater and music helps me use different, exciting teaching techniques in our lessons. I am conversational in both Turkish and Spanish as well!
No matter if we're working on music, acting, or English, I'm incredibly committed to my students and want each lesson to be fun and motivational. I'm a patient, supportive teacher, and know that each student is unique and moves at his/her own pace! Please reach out to me, and I will be happy to answer your questions!

My name is Mina and I am a current TESOL Masters student at Columbia University. I also have a TESOL Certificate from Columbia University, and teach at the Community Language Program at Columbia University.
I have taught ESL to students of all ages privately since 2017, with a focus on teaching adults. I also speak fluent German, and have a broad understanding of romance languages.

Last week, French tutor Carol Beth L. treated us to a great lesson on conjugating regular verbs. This week, we look at conjugating common irregular French verbs... French grammar is full of irregularities and exceptions. They make sense when you understand the phonetic and grammatical in's and out's of the language, but can still be difficult to navigate especially at the beginning. Covering every single irregular French verb out there, therefore, is a difficult task to tackle in just one b … Read More
