The music lessons for young children are full of fun, interactive activities with iPads apps and traditional methods that not only help develop a strong musical foundation and build essential life skills, but offer a unique bonding experience for you and your child.
Discover for yourself why families love my innovative music lessons for kids.
YES! Music Matters!
The curriculum is built on research that proves MUSIC MATTERS. Music affects virtually every aspect of development and when young children are consistently engaged by music during the “musical window” they benefit at many levels.
What about private lessons?
Do I believe in private lessons? You bet! But I know from experience that private lessons are most valuable for older kids who have the ability to concentrate in a one-to-one setti
With this Private setting you will have a solid foundation in keyboard skills and music theory and typically excel quickly in their continued music education and when learning other instruments. The education and experiences a child has in my music program sets them up for success with private instruction.
Builds spatial-temporal reasoning skills critical for greater success in math and science studies.
Music students out-perform non-music students on achievement tests in reading and math.
Music students receive more academic honors and awards than non-music students.
Develops social and emotional skills including the ability to relate to others and better express ideas, and less likely to have behavior/discipline problems.
I offer up to 2 recitals a year so that you can perform everything you know.
Feel free to reach out and let's setup some lessons.
George, was very patient, kind, and seem very knowledgeable. He seems to understand the pedagogy of teaching to kids and realize they all learn differently. I personally think he went above and beyond for my Son first class and for our first introduction. He offered a more modern approach method of teaching music and Piano to my son who so far seem more receptive in learning and practicing. Will se where that take us but I am very please so far.

Hello there, future string players and welcome to my profile!!
I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and raised in Miami, FL. I started my musical career at the age of 8, singing in chorus, playing the recorder, and shortly afterwards moving to the guitar, and the violin.
When I was 15, I was nominated for a James L. Knight Award in Music, and I performed as a violin soloist with the Miami Beach Symphony Orchestra, and the Greater Miami Youth Symphony playing Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 3 in G major. One of my most memorable experiences when I was a kid! In high school, I formed my own string quartet and we would perform all over the South Florida community especially at hospitals and for the elderly. At 16 years old, I was also given an internship with the New World Symphony, conducted by Michael Tilson Thomas, for about 2
years. During this time, I was able to take lessons from master violinists such as Marc Thayer and Glen Cherry. During this time, I was given the opportunity to perform with the New World Symphony at 17 years old for pops concert conducted and performed by Chuck Mangione in El Doral, FL.
I later on accepted a scholarship for violin performance at the University of Miami for my Bachelor of Music, and earned my Master of Music from Florida State University. I also taught string orchestras for 10 years at Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor K-8 Center, South Florida Youth Symphony as conductor (and now composer!), and conductor of the Greater Miami Youth Symphony. I was appointed Assistant Conductor of the Alhambra Orchestra for two seasons under the guidance of my high school orchestra teacher, Mr. Reginald Nicholson (1947-2011). It was here where I was able to work on my compositions, orchestrations, and conduct a fine group of musicians.
I now live in sunny Los Angeles, in the Sherman Oaks area, and I'm loving the new change. I am eager to share my knowledge with new students on various subjects such as learning a string instrument to learning a different language. Please feel free to ask me any questions.
I am looking forward to getting to know you and your goals for learning! ____________________________________________________
LESSON DETAILS I have been teaching music as an adult, certified teacher since I was in college, but have done teaching as early as 15 years old.
I will help you create a fantastic technical base so you will be able to play with ease as your skill level develops, all while keeping the lessons fun and engaging.
MUSIC STUDIO Piano, Violin, Guitar, Music Stand, General Teaching Aids, Recording Equipment.
TRAVEL EQUIPMENT I can provide a music stand and basic materials but the student is expected to have their own instruments and to buy the music I recommend. I can recommend various vendors/shops where you can buy the ideal instrument for your lessons.
EXPERTISE I am classically-trained musician that also specializes in Tango performance, Latin/Jazz, Rock, and a variety of other styles. I believe that training in the classical aesthetic will create a firm, solid foundation to crossover into other areas listed above. With a good dose of technical exercises, scales, and a variety of repertoire, my students always turn out well-rounded, ready to tackle almost any kind of music they wish to learn.
Thank you for stopping by and let me know what you would like to learn!

I am a professional religious school, early childhood and elementary school teacher. I graduated from Arizona State University with a Master's Degree in Education. I have been teaching Hebrew to all ages, preschool through fifth grade, since 1989. I can also teach children and adults who speak other languages to speak and read English.
Hebrew and English students can expect to improve week to week in their ability to speak, read and write in Hebrew. I can help students to gain not only skills, but confidence in their comprehension and communication in Hebrew and in English. Each lesson is tailored to the specific academic needs, interests and age, or maturity of the student. Adapting the lesson to the learner enables them to stay engaged and to see their progress.
During the lessons, students will learn letters, vowels, prefix
es, roots, and suffixes, which will aide in the building of vocabulary whether reading with vowels or not. This process builds not only decoding skills, but also comprehension skills. It's always great to more fully understand the prayers being chanted from the Siddur, or even understand a Facebook post written in Hebrew.
I look forward to meeting you and joining you on your journey of learning to read, speak and write in Hebrew or English.
My name is Leopolina , but everyone calls me Lea. I was also an ESL student back in 2009 and know how hard and intimidating it can get at times. That is why i want to help you. I shift my tutoring with each students needs, because everyone has a different speed, techniques and examples that help them learn the best. I am very friendly and have been helping kids learn for a long time. Weather it was coaching a Volleyball team or tutoring someone ; it is something i enjoy. I am very friendly and my top priority is making my students comfortable and give them a relaxed and enjoyable learning experience so that they want to keep learning. I love helping others achieve their goals and can connect on a personal level because i have been there, and i want to help others learn and get better at English and show them that learning a language does
not have to be hard and intimidating. It can be fun and relaxing and enjoyable when you have a tutor who will use examples of things that are interesting to you in life so that you learn while having fun and retain the most information possible. My greatest joy is seeing my students get better at what they are learning , it makes me so proud and happy to be able to help someone in that way; so that is what i aspire for with each student i take on. We set weekly goals and from there we take off on an adventure that is learning a new language.
"Very clear to understand, patient, encourages me to try instead of doing things for me. I'm walking away from my first lesson much further along than I w

"Nothing beats learning from a native speaker, especially one as knowledgeable and professional as Artem. Russian is his native language, but you would nev
er have guessed it since his English is impeccable. He takes difficult concepts and makes them simple to understand. He walks with you each step of the way, meeting you at your level and guiding you to fluency. He understands the best way you learn and adapts to your learning needs and situation. Artem will help you attain native pronunciation and will go out of his way to provide extra help and materials. I've been amazed how much I have gained from lessons with him. Highly recommended. Wonderful teacher."
"I started taking lessons about a month ago and so far it has been a very positive experience. My Spanish is at the intermediate and conversational level a

The teaching materials are very effective and Adan is very knowledgeable and supportive and is correcting my grammatical errors, which is exactly what I need. I signed up for 4 months' worth of lessons to start and will probably continue once a week for at least six months. I highly recommend Adan."
"Patient instructor, very thorough. I’m learning a lot through our sessions."
