Elena was able to teach someone 500 miles away the basics to a slew of different Latin ballroom dances (salsa, marengue, bachata, cumbia step, etc.) In just a few lessons I was able to feel comfortable enough with the steps and timing to be able to dance in public with others! She was very amazing and was willing to accommodate to my needs as a student. She gave plenty of reference material as well as songs so that I'd be able to practice when not taking lessons. I would highly recommend her as a teacher to anyone who is wanting to learn Latin Ballroom dance, but doesn't know where to start!

The most thoughtful and helpful teacher I could find for both of our children! One has several years experience, and the other was a beginner. Daniela was able to read their personalities perfectly from the first lesson, and adapt her teaching style to match. She is very passionate about teaching, and our kids love taking piano lessons because of her!

My son improved a lot with her within one year. She made him play lots of things and he was highly motivated. She knows how to deal with kids' interests and is very serious without being harsh

The best teacher on this planet earth. I feel so privileged to have been taught by Professor Kathleen, she is amazing. The plus was the introduction to ASL.

P.S: it takes a big heart to help shape little minds.

It is one of the coolest thing in life to be able to communicate without saying a word. Think how funny it is to say stuff in front of everybody and nobody else will understand. ASL is a skill that always help a day or another. You may save a life just cause you know some sign or even rescue people in need but nobody else could understand. Let's start and try to learn slowly but surely.

Spanish is not my native language, so I can relate to the mixed bag of emotions that come with learning a new language: self-consciousness, excitement, awkwardness (because of those pesky false cognates!) Along the way, I picked up some great strategies for understanding Spanish that I'd enjoy sharing with you.

I have a Bachelors and Masters degree both in Spanish. I studied abroad in Mexico, Spain, and Morocco. This past year, I took continued education coursework in Spanish translation. Just recently, I attended a workshop on language teaching through storytelling, also known as TPRS. It's a useful and unique exercise beneficial to language-learners of all levels.

I look forward to helping you feel more confident for class, pass your Spanish test, or even help you learn the language for work. I tutor full-time, so I am dedicated to cr
