I started learning Spanish on an AFS trip to Montevideo, Uruguay in 1987. After taking 3 years of French in High School, I was given a Oxford pocket Spanish Guide by my host family and was indoctrinated into Spanish the old fashioned way- Immersion! Luckily, the verbs were similar and pronunciation was much easier than French. By the 2nd month I was dreaming in Spanish. I have tutored Spanish beginners with not experience, at the university level, and they have passed their classes with high marks (A). I have communicated with students and parents in my career as a teacher with the CCSD with clarity and confidence. Spanish is a wonderful language and I'd like to open up all of its possibilities for you, whether for business or pleasure. I'll even be able to help you with your accent. I'm looking forward to teaching you soon. John

"I have no prior experience with Hindi and was a little bit nervous to begin my lessons...but Prajakta has really been a great instructor. She is friendly and patient and it is obvious that she has a lot of experience teaching. She provides helpful handouts before each lesson and goes over them in detail. I would highly recommend Prajakta's services to others looking to learn Hindi!"

"She helped my with my English Exam and helped me write better in English. What I like most about her is that I felt comfortable. I'm still new to the United States from Japan and I feel out of place here and still I don't know many people. But with her she always made me feel welcome and she speaks Japanese but never let me speak it so I can practice! She is a really good teacher and always their if you have question!"

For each of them Roman finds themes interesting to talk about and write about. Grammar and other boring stuff are taken needed care of, but main emphasis of lessons are on free talk."
