About Hiromi
I am a student at Ball State University, pursuing a Doctor of Arts degree in piano performance under the guidance of Dr. Robert Palmer. As a teaching assistant throughout my graduate studies, I have worked as an accompanist and taught ear training, group piano, and private piano lessons. Prior to Ball State University, I studied at the University of Kentucky and Ohio State University where I earned Master of Music and Bachelor of Music degrees in piano performance, respectively. To expand my expertise in music, I have attended summer music festivals and conferences including Adamant Music School and “Musical Summer at the Mill” International Masterclasses & Festival in Moulin d’Ande, France. About Dillon
Hello and welcome to my teacher profile! My name is Dillon S.

I am a music and art teacher, and I have earned my Associate's degree in Music Education at MDC with a focus on jazz guitar. I have a diverse experience in different genres of music (rock, pop, punk/metal, jazz, praise & worship/gospel, and others). I have also sung and played guitar, drums, and bass in numerous bands throughout the years (currently, drummer/percussionist in folk-rock band The Fortune Tellers in Miami, FL).

I have always had a deep love for art, and am currently working on my Bachelor of Science in K-12 Art Education. I have a particular interest in figure drawing/portraiture (charcoal, graphite, India ink), landscape and still life painting (acrylic and oil paint), and both digital and film photography.

I am hoping to improve my teaching skills throug
h this platform and impart knowledge onto others. I am laid-back and a kid at heart, and I find it important to teach with a sense of humor. For the record, I'm also a huge geek. I enjoy video games, superheroes, sci-fi, fantasy, animals (I have two cats), board games, cartoons/anime, technology/science... I also love traveling! If you're into something, feel free to talk to me about it, I love getting to know what you're passionate about!

I'm here to help you. Learning should be enjoyable for children as well as adults. I plan on using my experience and my love for teaching to equip my students with the skills needed to read, write, spell, and speak American English. My program is challenging yet enjoyable. I believe that when taught from the heart, anyone can speak English. I will not give up or let go of my students until they understand and master the English language.

Ramona was my teacher for 2 yrs, she never gave up on me, even when I was slacking off she stayed on me and didn't let me give up on myself. She's a good listener and she cares about her students. She doesn't move on until understand, until you get it. that helped me not to give up on myself.

Ramona became more than a teacher to me. She was loving and always in a good mood. She was patient when I didn't comprehend right away. She made me feel confident about what I was speaking to others. Ramona put her heart into my life and stuck with me until she gave me everything I needed to stand on my own. I am now a teacher and I try very hard to use the skills and patience she's taught me with my students.

Ramona G was my daughter's amazing teacher. As an instructor she is thorough, giving great attention to detail yet at the same time she is succinct. She has the ability to teach a large class and give each student the personal attention they need. Combine that with her patience, kindness, wit and wisdom along with personal interest in ensuring her students are successful, gives you the best teacher you could possibly have.

Shekkola taught Math and science to my three boys in middle school and her teaching was transformative, since they neither liked math nor were good at it before she began to teach them. All three went on to science careers and two went on to take advanced math courses. Once they joined her class they began to love Mathas did all the children in Shekkola's class - which is practically unheard of. I don't know what her magic is, but I am eternally grateful to her
