I am a native German speaker. I was born and raised in Munich ( Germany) I have 10 years experience in teaching kids and adults. I also speak Turkish, Spanish and Portuguese. I had 5 years of Latin in School. I love working with kids and teens because I like to motivate them and support them. My lessons are a mix between fun learning and focusing on the individuals needs and questions. I focus mostly on grammar and vocabulary but my student will also engage actively in everyday conversation in the foreign language. I do give homework.

I can teach you beginner's German- speaking, reading, writing through fun interactive games, music and conversational exercises. I have lived in Austria, studied German in college, and taught German to kids, teenagers and adults.

A graduate with a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education with majors in Spanish (Native Speakers' fluency) and German
( Native Speakers' fluency) in Language, Literature, and History, and Piano/Vocal Performance (Music); and minors in French Studies (Language and Culture), Italian, Linguistics, and Interpreting/Translation.

I grew up in the German part of Switzerland. I was exposed to the language throughout my schooling years. In my professional life as a doctor's assistant and later CEO assistant I needed to communicate daily in the German language. I studied business for 3 years. Over the last 3 years I have taught numerous people German. Some only need a little guidance, others keep on coming back to master more fluent conversation.

I'm flexible with my time and willing to adapt to my students' needs.

I grew up at the Northern tip of the Black Forest in Southwestern Germany and have spent most of my childhood vacations at my grandparents' in the Eifel region, close to the border with Luxemburg. Therefore, I got to grow up with standard German and two quite distinct dialects of German.

Once I started teaching German to refugees and did an internship in a university German class I started to become aware of the intricacies of German grammar and vocabulary and saw it with new eyes. Frankly, I may not be able to explain ALL grammatical phenomena, but it will be my pleasure to explore and expand my knowledge of German with you.

We can discuss what life in the German-speaking world is like, explore German literature and music, and along the way have a look at the grammar, vocabulary and prosody you may need to talk about those things.

Hello my name is Verena!

I am a German native speaker and currently teaching German at a Language Center in Orlando. I believe in the method of "Learning by doing" which means that I engage my students to actively use the new language, learn in a natural way using real life objects and creating real life situation.

I have a post graduate degree from a German University and worked for several years as a teacher in educational science and was additionally responsible for the supervision of Bachelor and Master Theses in German language.
