About dan

I love teaching ASL so much for it is my passion. I am a fun ASL teacher and you will love how fast you learn ASL. Sign up now. You can find my youtube videos online. My background includes having deaf parents and daughters that are deaf so I have been using ASL all of my life as it's my first language and I am a CODA (child of deaf parents). I have taught k-12 deaf students for over 30 years. My favorite subject is teaching American Sign Language (all levels) and interpreting which I taught at the local college for over 20 years. I have lifetime teaching credentials for k-12 and community college. Presently, I interpret for the deaf free-lance. I have taught over 3000 students over my many years of teaching, it is my love.

Dan is awesome to work with. I've had five 30 minute sessions so far, and now have switched to 60 minutes - I've even paid in advance for 20 lessons because I know I'll be continuing with him long term. Love that he's very detail oriented and corrects me when I sign less than perfect.

About Jennifer

I have been dancing in some form or fashion since the age of 3. I did ballet and tap recitals in preschool, took recreational gymnastics and cheerleading classes in elementary school, and did allstar dance and allstar cheerleading in middle school and high school. When I went away to college, I continued to take classes in many dance styles when I had time. I have never lost my love for dancing. My favorite styles are modern and ballet. I currently own a studio in the DFW metroplex and am excited to expand my teaching to online students!

I am eager to share with you my knowledge not only of French language but also French culture, society and way of life. I offer a variety of courses whether you’re starting from scratch, studying at school, brushing up on your conversational skills or practicing business French for the workplace. s.
My lessons focus on the four aspects of language learning for everyday life: Listening and speaking, reading and writing.

I started to teach in France in elementary schools. When I moved in United States, I worked as a French substitute teacher in high schools. About Edie

Because I have a variety of interests, I've had the opportunity to work in several fields. My careers have included: 9th grade English and reading teacher; paralegal; legal editor; consultant; mediator; attorney; Philosophy professor; and English coach for foreign professionals. Teaching was involved in almost all of these because connecting with people through the learning process is a great gift.

My education credentials are: B.S. English & Philosophy (Magna Cum Laude); M.A. Education & Philosophy; and a J.D. from Florida State University. I also have teaching licenses from Kentucky and Florida, mediator certification, and am a member of the Florida Bar.

I have resided in the U.S. state of Florida for most of my adult life. Living near the ocean and being able to spend time outside every day are essential to me. Some things I enjoy

doing: traveling, reading, walking on the beach and in the woods, biking, hanging out with friends. My household includes three furred beings: Jax, a greyhound-mix, and Simon and Sienna, my two wise tabbies. All three are rescues. In the past, I have also had horses in my life. Multi-species interactions, in my opinion, make us more fully human.

As my student, you can expect to always be treated respectfully and from the beginning, I will focus on providing lessons that are tailored to your individual needs.

If your English is at an intermediate level or higher and you want to improve your fluency, please contact me to discuss class options.

Thanks for reading this!

I've had 5 lessons with Benedetta and she is fantastic. She focuses on technique which is so important for singers to master. I made progress after my first lesson and each week she teaches me something new. I highly recommend her and if you want results, she'll help you get to the level you want to achieve!

About Cierra

Greetings Earthlings, class is in session. Ok time for our first POP QUIZ! See your questions below. (There is a right or wrong answer, but only you will know if it’s correct or not.)

Question 1.: Who are you?

Question 2.: Who or what did you want to be prior to any doubt of becoming that was brought to your awareness?

Question 3.: Does it bother you to have fun while learning? (This is not a trick question.)

Well, there you go. So, how did you do? Remember, only you can really answer these specific questions. When it comes to exploring self, which most of my lessons extends from, understanding and being honest with whom, what and where you are is the first step in opening yourself up to learning and evolving.

Learning should be fun an exciting. There’s also a sense of freedom that should come along with the power of obtaining new me

ntal tools for life. Your life.
