Hi, my name is Keith, and I teach English as a second language. I just finished my Certification for TEFL, so I'm looking forward to helping you or your child be successful at learning English. About Keith

Hi, my name is Keith and I have been involved in music from an early age. I love playing and teaching piano. I started taking lessons at the age of 9, and soon added trumpet and French Horn to my list of instrumental music lessons. I continued, through High School and College, taking music classes

Keith is an amazing teacher. My 7 year old son likes him very much. Before the lessons I worried our boy couldn’t build his interest in playing piano, just lose his enthusiasm after a while as the 7 years old always did. But Keith make me totally worry free, my son likes him very much, and he really knows how to build the kid’s interests and confidence while learning. Now my son enjoyed himself very much with Keith in their piano time. We are so lucky to find Keith.
July 2, 2018
We had four in-home lessons with Keith and he never once arrived on time. And not like 5 minutes late because of bad traffic or something. Once he was 40 minutes late, and another time he was 45 minutes late. For an hour lesson. At first I though there was some confusion because the time on take lessons was slightly different than the time we agreed to (he asked if we could start earlier than the time slot that was listed, and I agreed) but after speaking with him about it, we were both on the same page as to what time the lesson *should* begin, he just never arrived on time. He seems to be very overbooked and busy and does not respect his clients’ time. He told me that the disparity of arriving on time or a half hour late is “superfluous,” so if you hire him, be prepared to have a wide window of when he could show up. My kids liked him as a teacher, which is why I kept giving him chances and trying to work out scheduling issues (I offered to move our lessons to a different time, but he insisted the time we were at was fine) but in the end, things could not be resolved.

MarHaba everyone!

I am an Arabic native speak with 15 years of teaching experience at the university level in the US, Europe and the Middle East. I was a full-time Arabic lecturer at Columbia University in years 2017-2019. I have also taught at New York University (NYU) City University of New York (CUNY) at the United Nations, and at various international schools in New York greater area. I taught at Paris-Sorbonne University for 2 years and at La Universidad de Granada (Spain) for one year.

Let's first demystify the common conception that Arabic is a difficult language: Arabic is not a difficult language, Arabic is a different language, different than the commonly taught languages like French, Spanish, German, Swedish and even Turkish. Arabic looks different, which can be intimidating at the beginning, but when understood, the grammar, the structure, and a lot of common expressions are quite familiar and logical. I have been told my class goes by very fast. And because I am ...

About Rasha

Marhaba! Here, you just learned how to say 'hello' and guess what? that's all you need to get the conversation started, you just said 'hello' to 300 million speakers, so mabrouk for that, which means 'congrats'. You are already winning everyone's heart with you linguistic swag! You may not know,

I have wanted to learn Arabic for years but never found the right teacher until Rasha. She is exactly what I’ve been looking for: highly knowledgeable, responsible, engaging, patient, creative, and kind. She comes prepared with an agenda but always caters it to my specific needs and wants. She is both encouraging and challenging. At first I was hesitant to learn online but it turns out to be my preference as it is infinitely more convenient. Plus, Rasha creates a professional but comfortable and safe learning environment. I would recommend her to anyone interested in learning Arabic.

I have been teaching my native language for more than 7 years and I still enjoy sharing my love and great interest in the French language.
My experience in teaching full classes or private tutoring has made me someone patient, understanding and flexible. Whatever the time it takes, I want to see my students succeed and have fun while learning.
As a teacher, I know that every student is unique and it is dear to my heart to respond and adapt to each one. That is why I first suggest one lesson to determinate together your goals and a plan to achieve them. Also, because everyone has special needs and different ways to memorize, I am used to exploit multiple course materials (videos, board games, text books, role plays, etc.) to facilitate the learning process and make it really enjoyable.

About Aurore

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Literature. I have taught French and Latin in Middle and High Schools (from 6th to 12th grades) for more than 7 years in Paris and Lyon (France), until I left for New York in June 2019. I am trained to teach French as a Foreign Language (FLE) and have audi

"Alan is a great teacher. His lessons offer a real mix of technical practice and information on deaf culture which I was looking for. He is flexible with time and always willing to 'chat' a few minutes longer than the lessons require. I would recommend him to anyone interested in learning (or improving their prior knowledge of) ASL online."

"Gabriel is a fantastic teacher. Being a singer and an actor he has the ability to help you hit the correct sounds using simple exercises that can be later practiced at home.

In few lessons that we had he helped me a lot. He is patient, encouraging and provides a comfortable environment during lessons. He is able to guide you and gives a strong foundation to learn the American Accent.

Highly recommend!"
