hola!

Due to my enthusiasm for Foreign languages, I am fluent in French and can read Russian, German, and Spanish. French was my minor and chemistry was my major. I was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society based on my achievements in the fields of chemistry and French. I have also enhanced my fluency in French by traveling abroad, including residing in France at the University of Poitiers as well as traveling abroad to Paris, Brussels, and Calais. I look forward to spreading my enthusiasm for foreign languages to others.

If English is not your first language, or if you have a regional accent that you feel is keeping you from reaching your goals, then Accent Reduction coaching may be for you.
I can help you to soften your accent to blend in to your community of choice more easily by providing exercises, practice techniques, and memory mnemonics that will help you find the voice you want to use.

Voice lessons are tough. This isn't like a golf swing where someone can show you physically what to do or reach out and position your elbows where they need to be.
This all has to be articulated by a teacher, and is has to be articulated to someone (YOU) who doesn't even know what parts you're trying to move around.
It takes a great teacher. Eulis is a GREAT teacher. He gave me physical descriptions, character descriptions, accent descriptions, … everything I needed to position everything where it needed to be, even when I didn't always know where it was.
A lot of progress and a lot of fun. Thank you, Eulis.

I've been teaching French for six years and my students have gone on to improve their grade substantially. Within the first few lessons, you'll get a better understanding of the material learned in class or if you are a new beginner, you will be able to read and speak basic French. I use different grammar and reading books depending on your level and make you practice with speaking and written exercises to vary the learning process. I love working with students of all ages and experience levels and I would be thrilled to meet you!

Over the past 12 years, we've given over 3,000,000 lessons to happy customers around the world.

Chelsy managed the class well especially considering we all had varying experiences with ASL- from none to at all to wanting to brush up on the language. She is friendly, approachable, and clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about her profession. The course work was appropriate and she incorporated different games and activities for us to actively practice and learn. I definitely feel like I retained a lot and would love to keep going with learning more ASL"

She challenges and encourages. She blends both conversational and textbook instruction.
She is very patient when I am a bit frustrated and she is very flexible when schedule changes need to be made. I have extended my original series of classes due to my satisfaction with her teaching style and the results I am seeing.
I highly recommend Julissa as a Spanish tutor!!!"
