I've been a certified interpreter for the deaf for many years. I worked at a school for the deaf for 14 years and have led the interpreting department. My wife and I have taught hundreds of classes over the years.

We love the language and also respect Deaf culture. Expect to learn about both. I will tailor tutoring based on experience, knowledge, and skill.

About Richard

I've studied ASL for many years, became proficient, and "spoke" it for many years. I then taught ASL along with my wife for several years having graduated hundreds of students. I'm not a fan of selling books at $35+ each as most learners won't ever need the references that are now available online

I teach in an interactive and empowering way where discovering the beauty of this visual language and the valuable culture cherished by Deaf and Hearing Americans is part of every lesson.

I am a college professor, state certified educator, and an Interpreter. I love working with students and sharing what I know. It is such a joy watching students understanding and skills grow. I am thrilled and honored to be part of continuing the use of ASL and appreciation of Deaf Culture.

Kat is a very knowledgable teacher of ASL. I'm very impressed with her attention and respect for deaf culture. She's had high-level experience interpreting for the governor of CT. So cool with all those cameras! I highly recommend her for students of ASL in all levels, especially beginners.

Hello! I’m Bethney! The only thing I love more than literature, history and politics is teaching others to understand the world around them through history and current events, and helping them fall in love with language and use it in ways that affect positive change in their lives and in our society.

I have taught students from preschool to senior citizens, and I love learning with and teaching people of all ages and backgrounds. I am specifically certified to teach grades 9-12.

I currently teach English As Second Language to people ages 4 to 70, and have my TESOL certificate. I also teach online social studies and English Language Arts courses for students ages 6-18. I also have bachelor’s degrees in English and journalism with a communications emphasis. In addition, I worked for many years as a newspaper reporter and editor where I honed my skills as a writer and also my abilities to coach others in their writing.
