I am an American born in Los Angeles, CA. I was trained by some of the best Chinese language teachers while at UC Berkeley for my undergraduate degree. I entered into the Chinese Bridge Competition held every year, and was the number one American, Chinese language speaker. I was sent to China where I competed against top talent in almost every other country in the world and took first prize that year. After winning this competition, I continued training at UCLA where I got my Masters in East Asian Studies, so I am also trained in Ancient Chinese. The UCLA newspaper had my story on the front page which can now be viewed online through a search. I have continued using Mandarin on a daily basis and know the ins-and-outs of learning this difficult language as an American English speaker.

Hola, cómo estás? I am a certified native teacher. I was born in Madrid, Spain (Europe), and I live in California since 2014. I love teaching, and have all my life. I know how to teach you Spanish in the best way, with funny and effective classes, with patience, and with speaking slowly and clearly. You will learn the best proper pronunciation, our customs and our expressions. You will be able to speak with expressions, accent, emphasys and more different options of the language that only can be taught by natives teachers.
We will learn by enjoying and practicing, through one to one conversation, exercises, repetitions and homework.
Should be great as well to do lessons with 2 students . It is cheaper and works really really good.
Nos vemos ! :)

Embraced by the Deaf community in the state of Massachusetts over 10 years ago, I was submerged in the language and the culture during and after losing what was left of my hearing. I’ve never felt so much love and support in my life. It was quite touching. During the whole “losing my hearing” process, I quickly picked up American Sign Language and began teaching at TLC Deaf.
My family relocated to a different state and I began teaching homeschooled students ASL online via other video chat apps like FT, Skype, etc.
I had no idea that this (TakeLessons) existed and I’m not even sure how I stumbled across this app. I’ve been seeing various vocabulary signed differently compared to what I learned so I’ve been joining classes as well. Furthermore, I believe that there will always be something for you to learn no matter how skilled you are.
I noticed that there were no morning classes during the week and figured that I could share what I know with those who prefer morning classes.

It's important to be able to express yourself in any language, and learning to express yourself in Japanese can help you communicate more effectively with native Japanese speakers. Here, Washington, DC language teacher Taro T. teaches you some words, phrases, and Japanese vocabulary to express your emotions... Japanese culture is what anthropologist Edward T. Hall might call a high-context culture. In a high-context culture, you don't have to say much in order to be understood. When som …
