I create a study set for each of my student's lessons and share them with them for their at-home studying.
In the past 10 years, I have lived and worked in the Arab world, was formally educated in Arabic, and taught the Arabic language to an array of students. I hold a dual degree with honors from The University of Texas at Austin in Psychology and Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures. I studied di

I was born and raised in Italy by an Italian mother and American father, who has been speaking to me in English since I was a little child! I had the good fortune of growing up in a bilingual family, submerged in a multicultural environment.
Along with grammar, vocabulary and conversation, I really enjoy making the beautiful Italian culture a part of the lesson.

Karaoke is a fun activity in any language, but believe it or not, singing karaoke is also a great way to improve your Japanese-language skills. Karaoke, as we know it, actually started in Kobe City, Japan. The word 'karaoke' is a combination of the words kara (from karappo, which means 'empty') and oke (from okesutura, which means 'orchestra'). You may not have realized that you can learn Japanese through music, but karaoke is one of the best ways to practice vocabulary and …

I haven't learned a new language for a long time, but I am still on the journey of using a language that is not my native language. My first language is French, and my second language is English. Before immersing myself in English full time by moving to New York 10 years ago, I learned English for 15 years as part of my education. Recently, I came across an app called Duolingo, and let me tell you, I wish I could have had access to Duolingo all this time! While there's no replacement for le …
